I could not possibly have been more annoying in seeking service. If I owned the business, I might have forgotten to call me back. When my smoke detectors went rogue at 100 decibels my stereocilia began dying. Add the irregular pattern to the mix and I would have a mini cardiac episode several times a day. Then there was the dog barking. It was a scene. In short, I was on the verge of losing my mind.

My nerves were fried when I realized it was the day before the Fourth of July. Turning off the fuse box didn't work because they had a backup battery that I couldn't reach. Palisades Electric called back immediately, scheduled the appointment. Not a ""we'll be there between 8-12"" window, but ""we'll be there around 9AM"". What's more? They were actually there at the time stated.

They sent two electricians to remove and replace old detectors. Both were very nice. One, in particular, must have an eccentric wife or sister because he seemed more amused than judgmental by my trying to beat the detector off the wall with a broomstick. In under an hour, the job was complete.
A+ in every way.

Having recovered my hearing, I met up with my best friend, Gloria, and my mother who informed me that my kindergarten teacher, Mrs.Minium, is/was co-owner of Palisades Electric. ""She worked at the front desk and did their scheduling for years, but I haven't seen her there in awhile."" All I could think was, ""Please G-d, let her be retired and/or not manning the voicemail anymore."" A pretty demoralizing prospect. Yet I digress...

You should use this business because Mrs. Minium was my favorite teacher, it's owned by Palisadians, prices are reasonable, if not low, and they do a perfect job.

I've had Palisades Electric come out twice now- once for a hot outlet, with melting wires, and the second time to replace three outlets from two prong to three prongs. Chris came out both times, and he was on time, professional, fast, and knew exactly what he was doing! So happy to have a local electrician I can count on-- thank you Chris, and thank you Palisades Electric!!!

FANTASTIC! They do everything. Had a chandelier installed - they had
all the parts needed besides the tallest ladder ever. Steve and Angel did the work and they were so competent and congenial to work with. We needed some extra chain (which they had) and just little things that were needed. I can't say enough about what an excellent job they did in a timely manner. In the first 3 minutes I knew that they could do the job.
I would definitely use them again - OH - I forgot to say - Steve cleaned all the glass in the existing light fixtures too! GREAT JOB.

On time, careful, knowledgeable, pleasant -- everything you'd want. Chris installed a fixture for us -- had to move the outlet in the ceiling. Required cutting the drywall. Tidiest cut I've ever seen. This is a great company.

Outstanding work, reasonable pricing and incredible technicians should make Palisades Electric your first choice for any electric issues as they did me. Electrical work is complex and, in many cases, a bit tricky, but with Jamie and Steve overseeing and performing the work I had complete confidence that a rather involved outdoor installation would completed perfectly which it was. I cannot recommend Palisades Electric any more highly.

Fantastic and trustworthy. Needed a 220v plug installed on the side of my house for my electric car. Jaime showed up on time and gave me a ""not to exceed"" estimate. When I scheduled the job Jaime and his crew showed up right on time, discussed the job with me executed perfectly. They left everything completely clean and exactly the way they found it.

I received the invoice two days later. It was clearly itemized and $300 less than the not to exceed price. Great experience. Highly recommended.

I own a townhouse in Santa Monica in a small complex of 5 units. The HOA recently approved the repair and re-design of our outdoor and garage lights. I was the homeowner responsible for securing an electrician, communicating to him our operational and design issues, and coordinating the work.

Jamie, the owner of Palisades Electric, provided a thorough and reasonable proposal for the work needed. He patiently explained to me the issues he'd have to address and options for the best lighting for our needs and budget. His written proposal and estimate was approved by the HOA and work commenced quickly after that. At one point, he was going to need access to another homeowner's unit and worked around that homeowner's schedule to complete the job.

His electricians did most of the work and were professional and courteous. The job was completed on time (2 days) and the homeowners are thrilled with the work! Better lighting in the garage, efficient and bright security lighting and lighting for individual homeowner's stairs to their unit has provided enchanted safety and security for our complex.

I highly recommend Jamie and Palisades Electric for indoor and outdoor electric needs.

We have used Palisades Electric for years on our home. Eddy has been with Palisades Electric for 11 years and is fantastic. He is honest and hardworking. They replaced numerous electrical sockets, lighting indoor/outdoor, and have made our home a better place, and more energy efficient with newer LED bulbs, etc.

I would highly recommend their team for any minor or major electrical repairs in West LA.
