Company Overview

Our company is a small community-driven enterprise. We focus on home electrical work. No job is too small. Ranging from changing out a defective breaker or running electricity to a pool pump and connecting a detached garage. We will troubleshoot the concern and fix it as soon as possible. Our commitment to the quality of our work and strive to ensure the job site is cleaner than when we arrived. We aim to create meaningful connections with our clients because we know the difficulties of dealing with large corporations. We want to reintroduce the human touch to the trades.

My journey started in high school by competing in electrical competitions. I competed at the regional, statewide, and nationally levels. I had the chance to win first place in the state consecutively for two years for Georgia and secured third in the national competition. Since then, I had a desire to start my own electrical company. Having worked under numerous talented electricians for years, I knew it was time to go out on my own. I met my wonderful wife, Taylor, in 2019 and we married in 2022. In 2023, we welcomed our daughter, Stella Grace, which put a hold on my business plans. I’ve always done electrical projects on the side to help provide for my young family. Yet, it has always been my dream to take on electrical work full-time. So here I am with Oshields Electric. This is my step to enhance my family’s life and hopefully making a difference in everyone I meet.

I grew up in North Georgia. Since my days in high school competitions and my time in the electrical industry after finishing school, I’ve harbored a strong love for electrical work. I also worked commercial and industrial electrical work as an electrician of Georgia Power. However, nothing brings me greater satisfaction performing residential electrical work. Interacting with clients directly is consistently my favorite part of this work. I know that building personal relationships with my clients is just as vital as maintaining a professional relationship. I refuse to be one more electrical contractor who shows up at your home, finishes the task, and only talks about how much you owe. I am convinced that you can run a professional business while also delivering the compassion that many places lack today.
