John was extremely helpful. I initially requested a quote through. I eventually needed them to come visually inspect my panel. The work and amount was very reasonable and even came with a two year warranty. I would say most people did not have a warranty past the standard year or none at all. John and his helper came out and had a quote including have sourced the parts within an hour if that. These guys were honest, efficient and told me what to look out for with potential second opinions. Thanks again! We needed an emergency repair done after a tree came crashing down and hit our power line. SDGE couldn't connect our power until the weather guard was repaired. We called John and he agreed to do the job. He said he would be here in 30 mins but arrived in 20. Him and his team got right to work and had the repair done quickly. Thanks to John's promptness we were able to have the power back on the same day. John called that evening to check on us and to offer his generator if we were still without power. Now that's impressive! He goes above and beyond and truly cares about his customers. We will be calling him back for all our electrical needs. Thank you, John!

After contacting John, he was at my house that evening to take a look, then back again the next day to install recessed lighting and some bathroom light fixtures. The job took him a couple days and he played very nice with the painters who were also in my home. All of my new lights look great and work perfectly. Overall, John was super friendly and very honest, plus he's a great electrician to boot. I would recommend him to my mom or best friend!

Man, what can I say about John and Ocean Electric? We had issues with intermittent power outages in our house, and we couldn't find what was wrong. I reached out to multiple electricians regarding my situation, and John was the most helpful. He showed up to my house on the same day that I asked for help, and diagnosed the problem. He was able to do the work in a timely and professional manor, and was able to drop some knowledge on me, regarding electricity and how things work the way they work in the house. He assured me that I won't have any issues anymore, and for some reason, if I did, he would come back the same day and make sure to fix the issue. Again, I don't know anything about electrical, but I was very confident in John as an electrician. I highly recommend Ocean Electric, and if any future issues come up, hopefully not, I will be sure to contact them again.

Woohoo! is right!! I found the guy to go to, for all my electrical needs. John exudes honesty and is truly one of those nice guys that you enjoy interacting with. I had a circuit in my house that for some mysterious reason decided to stop working! John methodically started checking all the possibilities out and found the problem in what seemed to me ""no time"". I know that most of you would also like to know that he is very reasonable on his prices, just ""icing on the cake""! I already have another job in mind for him :-) You ready John?

Called on a Monday morning to have new electrical outlet installed in garage for a freezer. John Perez and his associate came out Monday afternoon. Very professional, courteous, nice. Great service and reasonable price. John also diagnosed a broken GFCI outlet and replaced that too. Can't beat it!

I got a great quote over the phone and gave him my address and thought we had set up a timeframe, but then crickets. Multiple voicemails went unanswered over the next week or so. Seems like most people are happy with the work that they got done, but the fact that we had spoken about price and approximate time of work and then nothing was a little frustrating.
