Amazing service!

On a cold Friday night half my house suddenly went dark...including the central heating. I checked the breakers and nothing had tripped. Switching them off and on did make an electrical crackling noise though...so I knew I was in some trouble.

I called Ocean Electric Saturday morning and John was able to come by the same day. It's a 70-year old house with the ancient breaker-box to match, but he quickly diagnosed the issue and had a plan to fix it. After several hours of effort he was able to work a minor miracle and got the power back up and running. When it came time to pay the charges were very reasonable, especially considering all the effort involved.

I would definitely recommend John and Ocean Electric's services and will be going to them when I upgrade my breaker box later this year.

John is really a nice guy and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he was very unreliable and unresponsive despite my many efforts to be patient with him. Essentially, I Had a 2 phase project with him. Took extra effort to get the first phase setup and scheduled. He disappeared on me after that and wouldn't return any calls or texts. Left me in a bad spot and hand to start from scratch and hire someone else to finish the project he started. I wish him And his business well as he really seems like a great guy. Wish he just would have been more honest about his availability instead of not responding. That is not the way to do business in any trade or industry.

John is really great! Had some wiring mixed up in our bedrooms after installing ceiling fans and he came right out and redid the wiring in both rooms. He also fixed an outlet that wasn't quite right as he was on his way out just because I asked him a question about it (and he was already off the clock) Great customer service!!I will definitely be using him again and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good friendly honest electrician!

I've used Ocean for 2 project so far, both involving the installation of ceiling fans. John did a great job both times and will be using him again for the installation of some in-ceiling speakers. There was a set-back in the most recent job due to some warped screws (not due to him) but John insisted on doing it right the first time and decided to come back the next day so that he could bring the right tool to resolve the issue with my ceiling fan box. I'm super happy with the fans and again, will be using Ocean again!

Ocean Electric came out immediately to replace old GCFI outlets that were causing problems. The guys were very fast and knowledgeable. They inquired about an outside outlet that I didn't even know could have been a factor.

They arrived about 30 minutes after I called! Great service!

I called around a few places but Ocean was able to come out the same day, which was incredibly helpful as we have a busy schedule and don't have time to wait for work to be done.

Both items were fixed promptly, and the work they did was impressive. The wiring was impressive, and I certainly appreciate how quickly they were able to fix resolve issues.

I had electrical wiring problems that everyone who tried to resolve them told me it was gremlins in the wiring. I was lucky to find John he told he would show up tomorrow and would take a look. Showed on time, professional they spent a total of 6 minutes before they isolated the issue. He called up the following day to make sure things were working properly.
