I have nothing but high praises for Sal. I am blown away as to how incredible him & his partner Andres just fixed up our home in no time. We had half our house shorted and lost power for more than a week.

First I had someone recommended from family that came out & couldn't figure out the problem. Then I had John Moore come out and all they did was upsell. JM is extremely expensive and after trying to upsell, they told me it may or may not fix the problem. They were very disappointing because they scared me to death the way they presented the issues. I am extremely disappointed with that company.

I found Next Door Electric on Google seeing that they have five star reviews. It's was a little hard to believe anyone would have a perfect ""five stars"". But once you meet Sal, you realize exactly why. Their prices are reasonable, they are genuine people who care about their customers. This is a rare trait to find in this line of work. Sal came out and fixed the problem that day! I'm beyond happy and beyond grateful that I found Sal through NextDoor electric. They will do all of our future work! :)

Working on a re-do, I needed pretty prompt attention initially in switching out several outlets (old 2-prong outlets) before plumber would complete his portion. Contacted several Electricians that I had previously used (1 of 4 responded and he wasn't available) so in a moment of meltdown mode I began searching the internet. Nextdoor had good reviews from more than just a handful of folks so I took a leap of faith and completed the 'contact us' portion on their site and low and behold they returned my call within the hour and Sal came by shortly after lunch. He assessed the situation, provided a very fair and reasonable quote (slightly less than I anticipated) and returned the following morning to do the job. Sal is personable and was a pleasure to work with!! I highly recommend them and will definitely add them to my Contact list for further electrical assistance. We needed an outdoor outlet repaired and our old electrician was no longer in business. We chose NextDoor based on reviews on Yelp and Google. My wife was originally told there were no Saturday appointments open, but after a short negotiation, one magically appeared.

Our electrician was early and got to work immediately. There was no attempt to upsell unneeded parts and informed us there was a 3-year warranty on parts and labor, which was nice.

We'll definitely call for future electrical needs.

In any industry, it is near impossible to find someone who will be transparent with their service and fees, honest with their assessments, and personable. Sal at Nexdoor Electric not only encompassed all 3 factors I look for when hiring someone to work on my home, but EXCEEDED my expectations in these aspects. In terms of his labor, he is quick and clean with the task at hand but very thorough. Any high quality job will ultimately take time but Sal provided the significant steps about his scope of work, potential solutions/troubleshooting, and provided a summary of what he did after fixing my issue.
His quality is no doubt on the highest end but what really stood out his how respectful and communicative he is. He is very understanding, listens to exactly what you tell him, and follows up with logical questions to help facilitate his work. He will also provide updates throughout. While he was assessing my issue and before he provided me a very reasonable quote, I was already sold on his services. I am very pleased to have found an electrician I will do business with in the longterm!
