Well I'm dusting off the mothballs for this one. We have a house that was built in the 50's like most people do in Los Angeles that always needs some kind of repair. Usually we plan these repairs and sometimes we don't, like when our light switch burst into flames and summoned the fire department. After lengthy warning from our local FD to get the electrical system checked out ASAP, we contacted our friends for an electrician recommendation since we didn't want to get gouged on price. I'm glad we were directed towards Next Level Electric and John who works there. John made the time to drive out that night and fix the burnt-out switch for a very reasonable price. He also looked at our other sockets and switches and showed us some potential problems, like old cloth wiring. He was very knowledgeable and answered my questions about potential fire hazards and such. It was a great experience and we plan to have him back to address our old wiring issues. A++

I am not some one that writes a lot of reviews, but my experience with next level electrical and in particular with John Reed was so exceptional I had to post about it. First of all to find an electrician that is honest and professional can be difficult, John is just that plus his customer service is excellent. He is up to date on all new electrical products and services and he has great concept for land scape lighting. He has done several big jobs and small jobs for me always stay on time and in budget. I highly recommend this company for any electrical needs or any opinion from an electrician. His work is super clean and he follows up to make sure everything goes well.

John is amazing. He is honest, trustworthy, and diligent. He and his team converted a bunch of fluorescent canned lights (with those impossible to remove bulbs) to led lights. John explained everything to me as he worked and the bulbs he installed will last 20 years! They also put in a new outlet in the garage and it looks beautiful, and more importantly, it works perfectly. Everyone was professional and courteous. I highly recommend Next Level Electric.

John and the guys (Taylor and Kyle) at Next Level Electric installed recessed lighting in the living room, dining area and kitchen of our Stonehedge home. They did a wonderful installation job. The shallow vaulted ceiling, lack of attic space and placement of firewalls presented challenges which the crew overcame to install lights that provide great LED lighting overall-no more trying to light this space with inadequate lamps! All the lights are dimmable so we can adjust the lighting to our needs. And the patch and paint work will be minimal thanks to their careful installation. They did a stellar cleanup after they were done! I highly recommend Next Level Electric.

Next Level Electric did a great job for me fixing the electrical supply to my dishwasher and garbage disposal, which had been quitting on me off and on for several months. They replaced the outlet under the sink, and checked the electrical panel. Turns out there was a loose connection on the bus bar in the electrical panel, with melted wires, and I think it could have caused a fire. I had just bought the house a few months before, so I'm not sure how long the issue was there. They did a great job for a reasonable price, and took the time to educate me a little on the electrical system. They arrived on time, performed the work quickly and cleanly and were very professional and polite. I will be using Next Level for all my electrical needs from now on.
