Jesse just saved me $1300 !!!!!! I bought a new washer/dryer and Jesse came over to replace the dryer outlet, prior to the new appliances coming. The dryer outlet, had black marks & 220 wire totally burnt off & the dryer cord prongs were fried. No more dryer heat...Jesse said this will fix your dryer, a new outlet & dryer cord.. Sure enough it did!!!!!!! So no need to buy $1300 in appliances. My old dryer just needed a little TLC. Both my washer & dryer are 15+ years old, but work great again, thanks to Jesse...

I spontaneously bought a beautiful hot tub and of course the minute it was delivered I needed an electrician stat!
Jesse from MTZ Electric came out and hard wired my hot tub on very short notice, 3 days.

I can not tell you how happy his availability made me. He did a very professional job. Beautiful wiring, Set up the hot tub as well and ensured it worked and had me in it just 3 hours after he left.

I am so happy, Jesse does grade A professional quality work.

Working with Jesse was great. I emailed him to get a quote for replacing my kitchen fixture. He immediately messaged me back and efficiently discussed over email some options. We were having an emergency problem with two of our kitchen outlets, and I sent a message to MTZ to ask if they might be able to come out to troubleshoot and fix whatever was causing the problem. Jesse responded immediately with a message suggesting something easy we could try ourselves, which worked! So instead of coming out and charging us money, he helped us fix it ourselves for free!

If we need electrical help in the future, we will definitely keep MTZ in mind, as in this situation Jesse showed kindness and ethics that I respect and admire.

Very happy with the results and glad we went with Jesse. He's super knowledgeable, fast, and professional. Prices are reasonable for a licensed electrician. And he gets back to you and shows up when expected.

We had a chandelier (20' ceiling) and drum light installed. Before install day, he informs you of exactly what you'll need. On install day, he protects your floors so they won't get scuffed. He basically leaves your place as immaculate as it was before he arrived. For our chandelier installation, he spent extra time making sure each crystal was cleaned and aligned correctly. Smudge free!!

I attempted to get a couple of bids for a small job. Jesse responded quickly and advised he could come out and give me a quote. When he arrived, he was pleasant and honest about what work would need to be done. He gave me a price and let me know he might be able to do the work in a couple days after normal business hours, and that he would text me during that week. I told him the days I would be available during the week. 2 days later, which is a day I was available, he sent me a text in the afternoon and confirmed he could do the job. He came over that night, after normal business hours, and got the job done. He was fast, clean, and efficient. The price quote he gave me upfront was fair and he did not change that price. Jesse was great and very nice. I appreciated that he was able to fit me into his busy schedule, and get my job done much faster than expected.

Also, another company gave me a quote and let me know they wouldn't be able to do the job until the end of the month with a 4 hour window. Jesse worked around my schedule and his, and he worked hard to get things done even after 5pm.

He is a small business right now, but definitely a hard working, genuine guy. You won't be disappointed with the work he does.

I am not surprised that all of Jesse's reviewers gave him 5 stars. A neighbor on the NextDoor App highly recommended MTZ Electric and now I have to thank them for that recommendation. Jesse took time out of his tight schedule to rework existing indoor and outdoor wiring and my house in Martinez and it turned out great. He gave me an honest quote, was honest about his scheduling and came at the time he said he would. From what I observed Jesse is your all around great family guy who can handle small jobs with ease and the very complex projects in the heavy construction industry where I have worked most of my career.

Jesse from MTZ Electric did a fabulous job with replacing all electric receptacles, installed recess lighting throughout the house and rewired our fan. It was fun to talk about smart switches with him. It was a great process from beginning to end.

I would like to commend Jesse Coward for the exemplary work that he performed 19 July 2017: installing 8 GFCI outlets in our house in Concord. Mr. Coward was exceedingly quick with providing his estimate for the cost of the project by e-mail. He provided tremendously interesting insight as to the workings of GFCI and was very quick with his work. Came to our house, he did, on time and ready to perform his assignment and he also called to apprise us of his schedule and approximate arrival time. Mr. Coward is a consummate professional. The detail of his work speaks for itself. He is exceptionally cognizant of his surroundings by virtue of the battery powered vacuum cleaner that he toted with him wherever he went. No mess was made. He is very polite also. Asked if he should take off his shoes before entering our house and so overall, a most delightful experience.

I would urge all would be seekers of electrical work to hire Mr. Coward.
