This company is local, sincere, and Jesse, the owner seems like a great guy! I ordered a new washer and dryer and had it installed, but there was no power for the dryer. So when I called MTZ Electric, he looked it over and looked for the breaker switch. It was not located where the main switch box was which was in the garage. After looking for the breaker for a few minutes he found it outside over the gas meter and voila, the problem was solved! I know it was a simple no brainer but I didn't know about the other switch outside and instead of charging me the fee for just showing up, unlike some other businesses, gratefully he waived the fee! He just seemed to be an honest, and reasonably priced, no nonsense kind of guy which is hard to find these days! I wished I knew about him along time ago! He'll be our go to person for now on! Thanks Jesse, you are a great service to our community!!!

There is no reason to go anywhere else to look for another electrician. Jesse is unbelievable. We had a fuse blown from a bad outlet that put out the electricity in half our house. Resetting the fuse box did nothing. Jesse came in and identified the problem and fixed it within 10 minutes. And to top it off, he's reasonably priced, honest and one of the most genuinely nice guys I've ever met. Do yourself a favor the next time you have an electricity issue and call Jesse. You won't regret it.

Jesse is now our go-to electrician!
We originally got a quote from Jesse to install a nema 14-50 plug for my Tesla. His quote was fairly priced but we ended up going with a cheaper electrician. I got what I paid for with the cheaper electrician with faulty wiring and causing my plug to meltdown. I'm glad my garage didn't catch on fire, but was left with no home charging for my car. I reached out to Jesse and he mentioned he was booked out for weeks out. After I told him my story and situation, he went out of his way to make a quick stop to asses the issue and was able to squeeze me in for a quick fix. I'm back up and running. Jesse knows his stuff! Quick, professional, and trustworthy. Highly recommend.

He is prompt, professional, detailed, knowledgeable. He ended up coming out several times: Once to fix an issue with the electrical panel (old house issue) and also to install a generator in preparation for the next power outage (yikes).

We put up our Christmas lights outside, but all of the sudden the plug wasn't working. I called MTZ Electric and left a message. Jesse called me back within 15 minutes and said he was booked out for a few weeks (I guess that's a sign of a good electrician!). I wanted our lights to work sooner rather than later because the holidays would be over if we waited.

He told me he would walk me through some simple steps and checks since he wouldn't be able to get out here. And I found what he was describing and fixed the problem! He answered my problem right away and fixed it over the phone for free!

We will be calling him again next time we have a problem.

Jess Coward of Mtz Electric is our hero. Our house is sale pending with the inspection uncovering a heat anomole in the control panel. In early August everyone was booked but Jesse stepped away from another job to look at our control panel. Feedback I was finding on the Internet suggested this can be a tricky diagnosis. We were fearful of a drawn out expensive process. Jesse figured it out and had the repair completed in less than an hour. The inspector retested the next day and we passed removing our roadblock to completing the sale of our house. Jesse has a good sense of humor, is polite, and has integrity. We would highly recommend Mtz Electric.

We had some trouble with two GFCI outlets in 2 bathrooms and wanted to get them fixed in a hurry since we just sold our house. I saw all the good reviews on Yelp for MTZ Electric (plus I always try to use local tradespeople) and decided to give them a try. I exchanged a few emails with Jesse Coward and he attempted to help us through the exchange - unfortunately no luck. He actually came by on a Sunday afternoon and quickly problem solved the issue and we are back in action with power to both plugs. Jesse was very professional, knew exactly what he was doing and charged an incredibly reasonable amount. Would definitely use his services again and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.
