Eric came out on time fixed my lighting problem it was literally hanging from a thread becoming a dangerous hazard, I valued his hard work & quality I've I've used Eric before therefore I knew his great work already, Give Mr Electric a call they r very affordable & prompt.
they came out to look at a blown breaker and said I would need a new panel and disconnect and grounding rods. this was to the tune of 11000. they charged me 59 dollars. This house had a retire in 2009 and passed inspection in 2022 when I bought it. I got a new main breaker and extraction to put it in for 300 dollars. do not use these people ever. the other electrician said they were a scam.
Never again!!! Needing to have 6 fixtures replaced (3 sets of 2) small fixtures easy access. Already have fixtures in place just needing new ones installed. Quoted $2900.00 When their tech showed up he explained they do a inspection on whether things are up to code in the home. (Not something we asked for or required during this visit). This quote was presented first and it was for $3600.00 it included putting in a surge protector box, a grounding rod, rewiring new smoke detectors for each bedroom, and making new modifications on the breaker box. Felt totally blindsided by all the work that was being suggested. Expecting a reasonable quote for light fixtures and ended up with a quote that totaled $6500.00. Feel like it was more of a sales pitch. The tech was very nice and professional I'm sure he was just towing the company line. He did ask that we give a review for his visit, we really had no words to offer since we were still picking our mouths off the floor from the estimate. And all this for the simple charge of $59.00 and they want a glowing review!!!
Mr. Electric called and said they would send over an electrician to solve my problem. I wanted my electrical panel moved to outside to accommodate a Generac generator. Brandon recommended a plug in to accommodate electrical cords from a generator. I would have electrical power to most of house and after he finished installing the switch and outlet, he thoroughly explained how to use everything. Very impressed with him and Mr. Electric. Will definitely recommend them to my friends.
They're crooks, zero stars!!
I had a simple job for them that took a half a day, installing an upgraded service panel and a taller pole per code. These crooks charged me five to seven times as much as I could have got this done for.
I called Mr. Electric to fix some wiring issues that I created while changing out light switches. The office had given me a time span which I was fine with. A little while later they called back and stated that they had an earlier time if I wanted it. That met a lot to me so that I could get the job done sooner and had a set time.
The technician, Brandon Ritzie, showed up as stated. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The circuit was a complicated arrangement but Brandon worked on it with out frustration and solved the problem in a timely manner. The work was done and I was happy. I would recommend Mr. Electric and especially Brandon to anyone.
My experience with Mr E's business process: show up, offer outrageous price for simple ceiling fan installation, have offer declined, bill an appearance/""dispatch"" fee, leave, repeat. Ignore phone calls from outraged customer.
Consumers: try to find ""dispatch fee"" disclosure by initial phone contact or website. Note the free estimate claim on the website
We requested a quote for an outbuilding which is located out of the required limits for a permit or code inspection; however, we follow state code and expected that would be upheld in our quote. After receiving the quote, which was over 50% higher than other electricians, we were told by TWO other electricians and ONE additional contractor that an item in Mr. Electric's quote was in violation of state code. This raised a red flag so I did further inquiry. Result? Mr. Electric knew what they put in the bid, but since we requested a lower price point and did not require an inspection or permit, the item was placed in our quote. This is not acceptable to us so we went with another company and could not be happier. If there was a Zero rating, I would have chosen it. When something doesn't feel right - it probably isn't. This is my opinion, do your research. Blessings
Prices were not very reasonable to install a light fixture and 2 fans. Additionally, the technician was not friendly at all. Extremely blah person that did not seem to care about his work/customer. It's unfortunate as the office staff was very friendly and responsive. Maybe their other technicians/electricians are better, but I would not recommend this company based off the person that was dispatched to my house.
This is honestly the WORST quality and customer service from a company I've ever received. This is not an exaggeration. They have been rejected for inspections multiple times for my home and have put a HUGE SETBACK in my progress. They have no sense of urgency and do not care about their work at all. They did not coordinate with inspectors nor did they even LOOK at what they didn't get approved on. This was an absolute mess. Waste of time and waste of money. Do not use this company.
