I called his company for a inspection quote on an older house the corporate office explain to me that would be about $300 shortly afterwards I get a call from the local office telling me it's gonna be over $500 I don't trust the company that's going to increase their price $200 and not honor their initial price quote. I recommend you stay away from this company since they overcharge you for a job that hasn't even been completed and misquoteyou on prices that haven't even been paid. Unprofessional, liars, and greedy thrives only out to get money and not be transparent about it.

Mr. Electric was referred to me through the SMUD home power insurance program. When I received the call from this company on 11/27/19 knowing there was a $500 limit under the policy, I specifically asked what the cost were and was told the per outlet/switch cost was $34 each with a $59 service charge and should there be a need to diagnose an issue, it would be an $89 charge. Based on that conversation I calculated I would be able to have at least 12 outlets/switches replaced and prepared the house bedrooms (moved and rearranged furniture) for service. I was dismayed when the technician arrived (12/2/19) because he said he could only replace six or seven of the outlets that needed to be replaced. I told him based on my calculations 12 outlets/switches with the service fee should total $468.00 and that's what I expected to have done. So before beginning any work, so that there would be no dispute, Kevin called the company's office and was told by someone on the phone that the charge for the outlets/switches was now $50 each and he could only replace 8 maximum. I had the 8 outlets replaced since I had taken time off of work so that the service could be performed but felt that there was a bait and switch when it came to the cost per outlet. The technician Kevin was excellent, he provided a lot of information and the work he did was exceptional. I would recommend this company for service but will not have them perform any work for me again without a detailed written estimate.

On Tuesday 8/6 we lost all power to a mobile home my daughter and I co-own. We immediately called SMUD, the person who we spoke to walked us through how to troubleshoot the issue. They did all they could do and it was determined not to be a SMUD Issue but an issue in the home itself. The SMUD person then called an electrican they refer when SMUD is not involved, that company was Mr. Electric. My first inclination was to think SMUD was ""passing the buck"" to a company was going tell us it wasn't a problem they could fix and to go back to SMUD. That was not the case, within 10 minutes we received a call from Mr Electric saying they would be there in less then an hour. They sent a young man named Dalton Grimm who diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. The issue was a breaker we didn't reset, It's a good feeling to know that there is an electrician that we can count on and trust, Mr. Electric and Dalton Grimm are these guys.

Mr. electric totally came through for me. Days before we were supposed to move into a new home we had house cleaners on site but no power. After finding them on yelp I had a technician at my house within 15 minutes (coincidently he just finished a call near me). Unfortunately for us there was not actually an issue, just a fuse to reset and some miscommunication. It's good to know we have a place to call when things really do go wrong though!

Mr. Electric sent Kevin O'Neill via SMUD to replace my light fixtures. Kevin is very thorough and professional. He troubleshoot the problem by changing the sensor that was bad, now light works. He used his initiative to make it work. Kevin is an asset to the company. He also installed my above garage light. I'm so pleased with his service.

They came out to look at the scope of work. We reviewed it together because this is a rental and the city inspector found some electrical issues. He said he would email 3 different estimates. After more than a week I've never heard from them again. I even called the office and never got a response

I was referred to Mr. Electric through the SMUD program. I had an on going electrical issue that they sent numerous technicians out that either stated they had fixed the problem and then the power would go out again or they were unable to diagnose it. I had the power in my house go out continually during all the bad thunder storms last winter. When the third electrician came to my house he assured me that he finally had the answer and could fix it for about $1500. I informed the technician I shouldn't have to pay anything being apart of this program come to find out that Mr. Electric has drained the funds out of my SMUD account with all their previous visits when my problem was never fixed. Please keep in mind I had three quotes identifying it as being three different problems from the same Mr. Electric. Not welling to take that leap of faith that this last quote was what the problem was. I called one outside electrician Tofft Electric they identified the problem apparently the fittings for my outside electrical box was for inside only. It took Ken and his assistant about 30 mins to solve a problem that Mr. Electric was out for over four times. And Tofft electric fixed the problem for $500.00, literally a third of what I was quoted. My advice is to shop around.

I've used them several times. On point every time. Great electricians: courteous, professional, go over and beyond to get the job done. I save all my annoying electrical issues up for the year then unload on Mr Electric yearly to fix it all. They always complete the job no matter how difficult or what obstacles come up. They never act annoyed as I watch intently and comment annoyingly at stupid stuff I know nothing about. Truly a great crew. Today Matt was the electrician and he exceeded my expectation. Until next year!

I chose Mr. Electric as they participated in a Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce business expo last summer. Today, Matt came out to install a huge high tech fan on the vaulted sealing and fix lights with wrong dimmer switches for the new light bulbs. Matt was very helpful explaining what was wrong in lay person's terms. There was much to do with much activity in the house, child, dog, plumber coming at the same time. Matt kept his cool so well when there was much disruption within his work space. There were two minor items in which we ran out of time. I hope they can be scheduled.

In the past, electricians I met seemed to have a prima donna attitude. This company, specifically Matt's work was exceptional. They are on time, reliable work, awesome attitude especially during a home's hectic time.

I look forward to tackling my kitchen remodel , replacing my box type light with new lights. I know which company will do the work now !
