We called Mr. Electric of Atlanta to come out and move our dining room light fixture that the builder originally placed in the wrong spot, and adjust the height of three hanging pendants. Hated to have to go through the trouble, but Dennis came out and made the process easy. He was professional, courteous, and took his time to do it right and make it perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to call Mr. Electric and will be requesting him again for future electrical needs.

Mr. Electric has no concern for your time. I received a quote for work on June 15, 2020 and scheduled the work for July 20, 2020. On July 20, 2020, I received a confirmation of my appointment. I called after my appointment window expired and was told the technician was not coming because he was tied up on another job. I guess he was so ""tied"" up that nobody at Mr. Electric had the decency to notify me. I was advised that I could reschedule and I RESCHEDULED another company.
Being the forgiving person I am, I tried Mr. Electric again on 12/10/2020. I scheduled an appointment for 12/18/2020. I received a confirmation call that the technician was on his way and would arrive within an hour. After waiting almost 1 hour and 45 minutes, I called back inquiring the whereabouts of the technician. After an extended hold, I was then told the technician was on his way. I was told the technician had to return to the shop to ""pickup supplies"" and should be there in about an hour. I told the dispatcher she could cancel the visit because I had more things to do than to wait for Mr. Electric. On 12/29/2020, I called back to speak with the manager to advise him of my concerns. I spoke with Barbara who told me she would have her manager, Steve, call me back and as of this day, 1/19/2021, I have not heard from Steve nor anybody at Mr. Electric.
I called Mr. Value Electricians @ 770.894.1566 on 12/30/2020 and scheduled an appointment for January 2, 2021. Not only did Mr. Value Electricians call to let me know he was on the way, he arrived early for his appointment. And the quote he provided was simply OUTSTANDING!!! When I have the work completed, I will tell you how well the job went.
Mr. Value Electricians has completed the work. The electrician arrived on time, completed the work on time and charged what was quoted.

Horrible. Sent a tech (Kevin Lane) who couldn't even swap a basic bathroom exhaust fan. He literally had no idea how to do it (and I later found out it was simply a pull out the old one and snap in the new one) and was staring at the bathroom ceiling for 10 min. He even went to his van for the ""special tool"" that I guess was in his van.
I sent him away and called his office, where the generic receptionist person on the phone knew nothing but said ""the manager"" would call me back. At that point, I was even considering having another tech with more experience come back to complete the job. No one ever called me back. I called them for days and left messages and no one ever returned my call at all. The obviously just don't care. I disputed the credit card charge.

Although our experience with Chris from Mr. Electric got off on a very wrong note, and had many issues, once we reached out to them, everyone was very responsive, and they quickly course corrected. Dustin swooped in like a cape-less superhero, saving our home and saving the day (and saving Mr Electric's reputation). Not only is Dustin a very talented master of his craft, but a genuinely wonderful person too. He deserves every raise and promotion there may be, but selfishly I hope he remains in his role, as he will ensure everything is done correctly. I appreciated management team's and Dustin's earnest desire to make things right, and they did.

Rep tells me they do not go over 16 .....??????

Update: owner called and was apologetic and explained to me that the rep should have told me about how they would need scaffolding set up and he asked if he could have a chance to make it up to me and send over his tech...... long story short this tech was awesome.... although we didn't get the remote working he did get my light and fan working again after 5 years or so!

CHRIS SIMPSON was amazing. Hung two fans for us, fixed a laundry room light. He was respectful, arrived with all PPE- mask, gloves, shoe booties etc. Worked very hard and gave us great results. Would recommend!

We had an issue with the circuit to our refrigerator. Daniel was very courteous and professional. We were very pleased with the service we received.

Their prices are insane! They do tell you that it'll be a $39.95 service call charge but then tell you that the tech will diagnose the problem and give you the price after that.
They were quick to arrive which was appreciated. The first guy ""wasn't sure"" about our electrical panel and had to call in a second guy who knew this type better. He took quite some time to arrive. I was told by them that they called Georgia Power because there was an issue with the box on our property. We later learned that not only was it a problem with is, but a problem affecting a good bit of Alpharetta.
So I got a bill for $647.10 for someone to look at an electrical panel and call for back up and then for them to call Georgia Power.
I'm not believing this.
See receipt for details. $597 for up to two hours of work. Wow!! Truck field supplies?!

Be very wary of this company. They add on a unwanted warranty on your invoice then refuse to refund when you complain.

Daniel from Mr. Electric came by this morning and updated breakers in our panel. What professional, courteous and knowledgeable customer service. Great job Daniel. We will use you and your business for as our electrician from here on out!
