Don't bother if you are a commercial property owner. Asked them to come out and quote a job at a small apartment building and the price they gave me was six times the other vendors that looked at the job. If you don't want to do a job just say so, don't waste my time and yours by writing an outrageous quote.

Stay FAR away from this place. Had an electrician come out to diagnose a failed plug in my child's bedroom. Electrician stated that the reason plug failed was because of certain wiring issues and lack of sealant within the caps. Had my normal electrician company come out today to check out other plugs in the home and examine this electricians work. Found out this guy reused old faulty caps and did not put an ounce of sealant. Plugs were sparking creating fire hazard. Stay away!!!!

I agreed to have them come out for $50 to get a quote to change a battery in a hard to reach smoke detector. It was chirping and the day before a federal holiday so i wanted a quick fix so I don't have to leave my home.

It's not super hard, just need a ladder that can reach a 20 foot ceiling and the detector is near the wall.

THEY QUOTED ME $1,500 TO REMOVE THE SMOKE DETECTOR!!!

Total waste of my time and $50. If you read this, don't be like me and waste your money.

Replace a fire detector. He also replaced a battery in another detector and found that it was defective.
Great guy and appreciated his detail.

Did good work adding in two electrical outlets.
Did a terrible job cleaning up after themselves. Sheetrock dust everywhere and very little effort put into removing it.

I requested service... They would not give me a quote over the phone because they only charge ""per service.""
I told them I had a breaker going bad and needed it replaced.
""We need to send someone out to diagnose the issue and that would be $59"" then we can repair it.
Long story short, they quoted me $550 to replace a breaker, that I told them was bad.
If they told me that over the phone, I would have never hired them.
They scammed me for $60... I want my money back!!

I went with a local electrician (A1 Ability Electric) who diagnosed and repaired the breaker for $270.
Mr. Electric is VERY OVERPRICED and doesn't listen to their customers.
I will NOT call them out again.

I was charged more than $250 to replace the remote in a ceiling fan and to tell me that my bathroom lights needed to be replaced. This work took less than an hour.

He said if he did replace the lights in the bathroom my charge would be an additional $250. It took me and my 19-year-old son 15 minutes to do the work that he was going to charge me an additional $250 to do.

Look around, way overpriced, go with an independent electrician

As always, should have checked yelp first!! My experience is not an exception. Use someone else!

During a thunderstorm, half of my condo did not have electricity. I called Mr Electric because they had a rating of 4.8 out of 5. Their electrician came and he looked at my fuse box inside my house and told me that half of my fuse was getting voltage. He then proceeded to go outside and check the meter box. He came back and told me that there are 3 wires that looked old and needed to be replaced. He said changing that would solve my problem. He said it would cost $429.00 if I wanted him to change it. I, of course, told him yes because I needed my condo to have electricity back again. I went outside with him and watched him changed the 3 tiny wires, each of them only 12 inches in length. When we got back into my condo, we were both SURPRISED to see that half of my condo WAS STILL WITHOUT electricity. He then went outside again and came back after a few minutes and told me that three problem WAS NOT the wires, but it was the meter box itself. He told me that I needed to call ONCOR to have them replace the meter. After Mr Electric technician left, I called ONCOR and told them the situation. They came out to check the situation. While ONCOR technician was outside checking on the meter, they asked me what Mr Electric technician did. I told them that Mr Electric technician replaced 3 wires that he said was damaged. They ask to see the wires. When I showed them the wires, they were SHOCKED because they said that there was NOTHING WRONG with this wires and that Mr Electric technician should have called them first instead of replacing the wires. ONCOR changed the meter fixed my electricity problem. Mr Electric charged me $429.00 and DID NOT even fixed my problem. When I asked Mr Electric technician for a receipt, he said that it would be emailed to me. I NEVER gotten any receipt or invoice from them in my email. I later called Mr Electric 4 separate times to ask for my money back and ask to speak to a manager, but no manager ever called me back. I did not get any response from them. I'm not sure how they got 4.8/5 rating?!!
