I should have read reviews before calling this company. They charged me a service call of $59 and quoted me over $500 to install a dimmer!
I refused the work (did not think it was going to be over $500 to install a dimmer which is about a 15 minute job...) unfortunately I had to pay the $59.

My mistake for not checking reviews before I called them.

Never, never, never call or use this company!!! Run fast! We needed a battery changed on a smoke detector that is on 20ft wall and change out 3 breakers. We had the battery and breakers. He charged us $1200. I am shocked. We paid him the $59 and asked him to leave. I can't even believe it. We asked Amanda for a quote prior to him coming out and she didn't want to give it. Wow wow wow! $1200. We had all the supplies but he wanted to replace the whole smoke detector and only lord knows what he wanted to do to the circuit breaker! Whew!!

I give the actual company a low score because of their tactics. I asked for a morning appointment and the electrician arrived at noon. The company doesn't give you a time so you are stuck waiting.

Then there's the matter of their fee structure. When I made the appointment, I was told there was a $59 trip charge. When the electrician arrived, I was told Mr. Electric charges a $219.00 diagnostic fee. That's fine, but the company should tell the truth and explain their service fees. NO ONE likes surprises and customers feel trapped because they want the electrical problem fixed.

I give Scott T. a great score because he was professional and resolved my issue.

Until the company stops price gauging and improves their communication I won't call them back.

As you can see, their response requested that I call them back, which I did. However, the representative I spoke to was unaware of the response, took my details, and assured me that someone would contact me by Monday, January 13th. As of January 15th, I have yet to receive a follow-up. These responses to negative reviews appear to be empty promises intended to improve the company's image, while in reality, no action is taken.

I needed an electrician to take a look at my home's laundry room electrical circuitry to see if it could handle the addition of a spare fridge, and I booked Mr. Electric for the job.

A licensed master electrician named Travis came to my house the next day and he did a phenomenal job. He checked out my home's laundry circuits and plugs. He labeled each laundry room outlet (it turns out one was a dedicated outlet just for the washing machine, for example, and he labeled for us to make sure we would always remember that). He also verified, via his testing processes and equipment, that our laundry room circuits can handle the addition of a spare fridge.

While he working in the laundry room, I asked Travis if he could also add extra plug outlets in other parts of the house. He said yes. Then, when he finished up the laundry room work, he added extra electrical outlets to our dining and living room areas (places where there had not been outlets before).

Travis cleaned up everything afterwards and gave us extra quotes for work we want done in the future (such as adding four recessed lights in the ceiling of our home office). He was professional, friendly, and respectful of our property. He let us know pricing for each task PRIOR to doing any work.

Very happy with the quality of Travis'/Mr. Electric's services. I plan on hiring them again for the future projects mentioned above.

Price gauging and bad communication. How is half hour of work and a new outlet $600? I called in to get an explanation and no call back. I will never use them again and would not recommend them

I see the other reviews on this platform and notice the highest reviews seem to speak highly of Jr. I also agree with this reviews regarding Jr. Nothing but the host respect for that man. Professional, smart, courteous, and quick but only if needed. Every time I call Jr. To come out it's great work and he's extremely friendly. Each and every time he's left my home I feel more comfortable and, even more so I feel safer. Thanks!

Don't bother if you are a commercial property owner. Asked them to come out and quote a job at a small apartment building and the price they gave me was six times the other vendors that looked at the job. If you don't want to do a job just say so, don't waste my time and yours by writing an outrageous quote.

Stay FAR away from this place. Had an electrician come out to diagnose a failed plug in my child's bedroom. Electrician stated that the reason plug failed was because of certain wiring issues and lack of sealant within the caps. Had my normal electrician company come out today to check out other plugs in the home and examine this electricians work. Found out this guy reused old faulty caps and did not put an ounce of sealant. Plugs were sparking creating fire hazard. Stay away!!!!
