Beware! Sort of a bait and switch operation. They quoted a consultation fee of $49 which seems fine, but when the guy (actually one of the managers) showed up just to inspect outlets in one room, and switch in another said for two rooms it will cost $239 !!!!! OMG, I was in jam so I went forward. He basically tighten a couple outlets, looked at the breaker box, - replaced nothing, no root cause discovered. Then he tried to sell me on a whole house warranty and advised me not to use multi outlet strips. I tried connect with the them to lower the fee - nothing. Go else where.

Here are the facts. You be the judge. We had a wall outlet that wasn't working. The guy arrived, I described the problem, and he said - without having looked at the outlet - that it would be a $245 job. I sputtered in disbelief and asked why. He explained the procedure he would have to perform, which would apparently take several hours, so I reluctantly agreed. Well, when he actually looked at the problem, he was done in a few minutes and said that would be $245. My jaw dropped, and I asked what they charge per hour. He said $245. I burst out laughing and told him they would be reading about themselves online very soon. He then called his manager, who adjusted the charge to something still quite high but more in line with a reputable electrician's hourly charge. Too bad it took a threat to achieve this.

they are little expensive.. they charged me over $200 for someone to come out and diagnose an power issue i had. but they showed up on time, was courteous, professionally behaved, and fixed all my issues. i'd would have given them a 5 star rating if they were little cheaper.

Heaven Sent! Get ready, I'm wordy and will tell the long version! So, I'm renovating my kitchen and needed several electrical things done to the space. Some of it was cosmetic, like I wanted recessed/can lighting (vaulted ceilings) and pendants above my new huge island. The rest of the work was 'HAVE' to work to keep up with city code (boring!) The 1st electrician that came out to consult and quote was a weasel. He said the work couldn't be done at first, then said it would be extremely difficult so in order to properly do it, it would cost......$3,700! What? Really? I immediately called Home Depot and asked them to recommend one of their contracted electricians. They immediately without hesitation, said ""Mr. Electric!"" Chris from Mr. Electric, came out the same day, laughed at the other guy's quote and said not only could the work be done but he could start on it that day for $1,200! WOW! This was a significant difference in price. I accepted the quote and he finished right under 4 hours! Chris has since been back to my kitchen and home a few more times, helping us with other electrical projects. He is always professional and personable. Chris always explains what he's doing and shows me the completed work afterwards. If you want GREAT service with a smile I recommend Mr. Electric! Oh, yeah and my neighbor has since used their services and loves them now too! Great work and service speaks for itself!

I called Mr Electrice because our lights were flickering and they sent someone out right away for an estimate. I new we needed an upgrade and the electrician came out and gave us a fair estimate. I have to say he was very professional and friendly and did an outstanding job. I have had many repair people come to my home but never before had such an amazing experience as with this electrician. Took his time and did the job right. They were the first company I called and glad I did.

I asked for a quote on installing two electric motors for y swimming pool. It's a simple and quick install. The quote was for more than the total cost of the two motors! The quote was for $305.00.
I decided to do it myself. Total time for installation: 1 hour & 15 minutes! Assuming they took the same time (or less), that makes their charge about $244.00 per hour.
Avoid these guys!

I called Mr. Electric and asked them to come give me a quote to install a 220V outlet in my laundry room for my new dryer. I expected that it wouldn't be cheap as this involves adding a dedicated circuit for this new outlet. I was absolutely shocked when the technician quoted me $1700 dollars. This is more than both the washer and dryer cost to buy new!! There's no way it costs the company anywhere near this much to do this job. This is just down-right price gouging and the public needs to know. Be aware if you call these guys.

They've been out to my place 2 times and did a great job twice.

I had a problem with a circuit breaker that kept tripping. My friend and realtor recommended Mr. Electric to me. The main office representative returned my call within minutes and scheduled a convenient time for an electrician to come by. Jose came out today (less than a day after I called) and efficiently diagnosed and corrected the problem. I found this company polite, professional and efficient. I highly recommend.

Mr Electric was clean, courteous, and honest. That is exactly what I was looking for when I started to look up electricians to be in my home. They put on little booties to make sure not to track in dirt, cleaned up the mess after they were done, and gave me a quote up front. I would tell you that if you are looking to hire an electrician give them a call!!!
