Wade came out to our property to fix some bad GFI's and troubleshoot some issues we were having in our garage. For starters, he showed up at 830 on the dot (when does that ever happen). Second, he was a well mannered agreeable person. Third, and potentially most important, he was thorough and even gave me a good price on the work. Everything was fixed in a matter of 45 mins. He could have ""taken me for a ride"" but instead tried to save me money by pointing out small problems I could fix myself (like turning the light switch on so my garage door would open... duh). Anyhow, thanks Wade.

Had a good experience with Mr. Electric. Wade W was flexible, courteous, and took the time to explain what we'd need to do with some complex wiring for multi-way switches. He also helped select the right hardware, and came back multiple times to schedule around other parts of our job that were in flight. Did great work.

Called for service for a circuit breaker problem on a Sunday and they said they have $350 minimum to come out on weekends. Outrageous!!

★☆☆☆☆

$275 to replace an AA battery and flip a switch. They were only here about 20 minutes.

They checked my breaker box, although I told them the breakers had not tripped. In doing so, they accidentally ripped the metal door off of the box, and then warped it, and could not get it back on, so they just left it in the driveway.

Absolutely outrageous. They didn't discuss pricing when I scheduled this, and ignored a question about pricing over email, or I would never have hired them. If I had been there instead of my wife, I would have asked about pricing first and turned these highway robbers away. I'm furious. I feel like they took advantage of her.

Also, appointment was scheduled a whole week out. That's a long time to go without a working thermostat. Technician was a tad late despite offering a 2 hour window.

In short, I will never hire Mr Electric again, and I encourage everyone else to stay far, far away.

My husband and I were installing floating shelves and we accidentally drilled into a wire. Half the house short circuited. At 1am on a Saturday. I called immediately because I was concerned about an electrical fire and the operating service was very nice, told me that they didn't have any technicians at that moment, if my breaker is off we are fine (it was), and to call in the morning. I called at 8am, Terrance was here by 10:30am and our electrical was fixed by noon. It was an expensive mistake ($350) but he came out immediately on a Saturday morning after Thanksgiving and helped us get up and running. Instead of hastily patching it up with a junction box, which would require another plate on the wall, he was able to figure out where the wire went (our pantry) and replace the whole thing. He also helped us figure out a few other issues so we can finish our project. We appreciate the service!

A service company is only as good as the person that performs YOUR job. In this case it was Terrance Thompson that did a wonderful job for us. It was a full day's worth of work which was expertly done. We are very pleased with the outcome.

They arrived on time and fixed my electrical problems after explaining them to me and
giving me options. Fair price for professionals!

Good news. I had my exterior lights hung by someone other than Mr. Electric for $150 vs the $400 that they quoted.

The bad news is that the lights Mr. Electric ""fixed"" are not working. At all. So now I start over.

I'm going to call them and will update. Sigh.

Yikes! I wish I had read these reviews beforehand. They charged $275 to hang three easy light fixtures in right at an hour. I should have done my due diligence, but, once you schedule the time for them to come out (about a week out) and then you take off work to be there and you get the crazy estimate...I should have said no. Just don't even call them and find yourself in this situation.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! They left a hole in my wall due to incompetent electricians
