Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! They left a hole in my wall due to incompetent electricians

I was smelling a strong Smokey smell, So I called Mr. Electric. Chris came of to my house and checked every outlet and found the burnt out outlet. Chris not
Only repaired the outlet, but explained to me why it burnt up in the first place. Very thorough and professional, I highly recommend!

Terrance is the BEST! We had several random lighting projects that we needed done to our fixer-upper and he did it on time, accurately, and on budget! I will definitely hire Terrance for additional lighting needs.

I woke up on sunday morning to find the diswasher not working and it looked like it turned off halfway through a cycle. So I checked the breakers, they were fine. Removed the dishwasher and checked on another outlet and it was working. Tried a lamp on the diswasher socket with no luck. I bought a new socket from lowes, installed it and still nogo.
Found these guys on the internet and sent in an email asking for a quote. at 9:30pm sunday night got an email asking if i checked the switch. I didn't know there was a switch but as soon as I mentioned it to my wife she says ""ooh yea"" Flipped the switch and it works again.
They could have came out flipped the switch and charged me, they could have waited till buisness hours to get back to me. This guy fixed a simple problem (dumb mistake on my end) on a sunday night and didn't get paid anything.
top notch.
thank you.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE. Total rip-off. How about $400 to replace a wall socket and dryer cord and hook up a simple three wire ceiling light? (And fix a broken wire on an outside light that he did not fix..) He was going to charge me over $525 until I balked. Total time spent here - hour and half max. Materials used? A dryer cord and part of a socket so that means he made well over $350 for and hour and half of his so called expertise? Why did I bother going to college?
Then ""Richard W."" told me he had to replace another woman's electrical panel (complete breaker box) just last week and the cost was a mere $6,200, but they had financing available.
When asked if mine possibly needed to be upgraded or replaced since my house was built in 1984, he said probably not, it was a GE and they are usually pretty good, but he would check and again, they have financing available. (BTW - Mine is 200 amps which is more than enough for a 1,300 square foot home that has no heavy electrical loads.)
I had to go to work and left him here with a family member. However when I later came home, he left me a written estimate of "" $5,000 to replace indoor panel"" without an explanation as to why I would want to do so.
And he failed to fix a simple issue (broken wire) on an outside light that I pointed out to him, that NOW trips a breaker AFTER he was here. (Never was an issue before.....I'll be taking that one up with the owner tomorrow morning.) But wait, he is willing to come back later and troubleshoot that issue for a mere $358.00.
LET ME REPEAT _ DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! Overpriced, poor quality, and they try to sell you something you do not need.
FYI - HE MENTIONED THAT HE PLANNED ON OPENING HIS OWN SERVICE SOON! Lovely. Another dishonest service repairman preying on female homeowners - just what we need.

Beware! Sort of a bait and switch operation. They quoted a consultation fee of $49 which seems fine, but when the guy (actually one of the managers) showed up just to inspect outlets in one room, and switch in another said for two rooms it will cost $239 !!!!! OMG, I was in jam so I went forward. He basically tighten a couple outlets, looked at the breaker box, - replaced nothing, no root cause discovered. Then he tried to sell me on a whole house warranty and advised me not to use multi outlet strips. I tried connect with the them to lower the fee - nothing. Go else where.

Here are the facts. You be the judge. We had a wall outlet that wasn't working. The guy arrived, I described the problem, and he said - without having looked at the outlet - that it would be a $245 job. I sputtered in disbelief and asked why. He explained the procedure he would have to perform, which would apparently take several hours, so I reluctantly agreed. Well, when he actually looked at the problem, he was done in a few minutes and said that would be $245. My jaw dropped, and I asked what they charge per hour. He said $245. I burst out laughing and told him they would be reading about themselves online very soon. He then called his manager, who adjusted the charge to something still quite high but more in line with a reputable electrician's hourly charge. Too bad it took a threat to achieve this.

they are little expensive.. they charged me over $200 for someone to come out and diagnose an power issue i had. but they showed up on time, was courteous, professionally behaved, and fixed all my issues. i'd would have given them a 5 star rating if they were little cheaper.

Heaven Sent! Get ready, I'm wordy and will tell the long version! So, I'm renovating my kitchen and needed several electrical things done to the space. Some of it was cosmetic, like I wanted recessed/can lighting (vaulted ceilings) and pendants above my new huge island. The rest of the work was 'HAVE' to work to keep up with city code (boring!) The 1st electrician that came out to consult and quote was a weasel. He said the work couldn't be done at first, then said it would be extremely difficult so in order to properly do it, it would cost......$3,700! What? Really? I immediately called Home Depot and asked them to recommend one of their contracted electricians. They immediately without hesitation, said ""Mr. Electric!"" Chris from Mr. Electric, came out the same day, laughed at the other guy's quote and said not only could the work be done but he could start on it that day for $1,200! WOW! This was a significant difference in price. I accepted the quote and he finished right under 4 hours! Chris has since been back to my kitchen and home a few more times, helping us with other electrical projects. He is always professional and personable. Chris always explains what he's doing and shows me the completed work afterwards. If you want GREAT service with a smile I recommend Mr. Electric! Oh, yeah and my neighbor has since used their services and loves them now too! Great work and service speaks for itself!

I called Mr Electrice because our lights were flickering and they sent someone out right away for an estimate. I new we needed an upgrade and the electrician came out and gave us a fair estimate. I have to say he was very professional and friendly and did an outstanding job. I have had many repair people come to my home but never before had such an amazing experience as with this electrician. Took his time and did the job right. They were the first company I called and glad I did.
