This review is way overdue, but better late than never!

Randy and team were recommended to us by a friend who had work done a couple years back, and he and his team did NOT disappoint!

Randy was super attentive from the beginning, and incredibly professional. Randy helped put up over 40 recessed lights + multiple ceiling fans throughout our house in record time, and the final result was fantastic.

He was also super communicative the whole time, and was VERY clean with their work, putting down tarp and drop cloth, and making sure to clean up after the job - no dust or scraps left behind!

Whenever Randy ran into an unexpected stud or framing that was in the way, he always notified me and came with different proposals. His recommendations were always spot on, and we were grateful that we had someone so experienced to handle our electrical. The previous owner had taken a few liberties/shortcuts with the electrical work, and Randy was able to correct any weird situations and get us up to code.

In terms of the support he gave: even before we had reached out to Randy, one of the old light switches had been giving off a weird burning smell, which I had brushed off. One night, after Randy started work on our property, the smell was still bothering me, so I reluctantly called him after hours and he didn't even blink. He was out at the house and helped us discover that one of the original light switches (one he would have replaced the next day anyway) was starting to malfunction and he replaced it on the spot! And to be clear, this is a pre-existing issue that we likely would not have discovered until too late had Randy not done the work in our house. He quite literally may have saved our home from electrical damage, or worse, a fire!

Randy was even willing to come by for a much smaller job - putting in a new transformer and running new low voltage wire for our Nest Doorbell after another contractor had stucco'd all of the prior wiring/hole. Again, super clean, super tidy and made sure everything was tucked away and super discrete yet accessible.

Would highly recommend for any work - he doesn't cut corners, and is incredibly efficient and clean. I've already recommended him to friends, and we will be reaching out for any future work.

Renovating a 80+ year old house that was never updated, I needed entire house rewire, panel upgrade, along with a ton of new lights. Although we have a little work left (mostly PG&E's work), I couldn't wait to put some good words out there because we just LOVED Randy and the team...

For one thing, they are simply great people. I enjoyed going to the site to meet them for the last 3 weeks. Any question, Randy will explain in detail. I learned a ton about electrical around the house!

And their work quality is superb. Passed the inspection with flying colors, that says a lot. Randy always made sure to get my feedback on the work and that I am happy with the result. They are also the cleanest and tidiest crew I've ever seen, and that's reflected in their work. Precise and clean. And competitive pricing!

Best thing about Mopia electric is that Randy is super easy to communicate with, so it made the whole process a breeze. Rewiring involved a lot of small and big decisions than I thought. How many lights, location of lights, location of switches, etc., I often had to explain how I want certain things, and Randy just gets it.

100% recommend them, especially if it's a big, complicated job like rewire.
