On July 11, 2018, Mopia Electric agreed do a disconnect of an old spa in my back yard setting on a deck, he also agreed to do new wiring for a replacement hot tub. He was in touch and available at every phase of the job and at the final wiring the hot tub worked. He was great. He even checked back to see if all was ok.

We used Mopia Electric in the past to install recessed lighting in our family room, kitchen, and hallway. Randy, the owner, did such a great job that we decided to go with him again to do our outdoor landscape lighting. He gives great suggestions about the type of lights to use and even has a good eye for design. We wanted to put lights along the sides of our driveway and he gave us his recommendation for the number of lights and the placement of the lights - we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Most importantly, Randy explains what is needed to meet code, and makes sure that safety is the number one priority. His pricing is more than fair especially because we get the peace of mind knowing that the job was done right.

Randy is a great guy. Easy, clear and responsive. He's a straight shooter with a nice personality. He's clear on the work he'll be doing and honest about the job when he's doing it. He keeps you updated on the spot of the work.

He's efficient and did not waste anytime in getting the job done. He's got guys working with him to allow for a quicker process.

The job he did was on our kitchen sink outlet. The garbage disposal was not properly getting power only because we were using a faulty extension which loosed up the outlet female connection. He troubleshoot the issue and his guys went ahead and replaced the outlet with a new one, switched the wiring positions between the GB and dishwasher and blammmm it's working again. All in under 45 minutes.

The work is quality and you get what you pay for. I just wished he took my CC, I almost forgot where I had my checkbook and how to write one.

Randy Mopia and his workers are fantastic.
This is the second time I have used their services.
The first time was for installing recessed lights; this
time was for a problem with the outlets and fuse box panel.
The workmanship is excellent, and he is very knowledgeable and

I had Randy pull a new service from the main panel on my house to a new garage I'm building in the back of the property. He knocked it out in a half day with terrific workmanship & a fair price. I really don't see how you can go wrong if you use his services, I'm happy to have found him!

Randy was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had him replace three outlets with a new dedicated line servicing our kitchen. In the process, he discovered that there was a hidden breaker in our garage that fed two of our wall outlets in our living room that had not been working for like 10 years. He just reset that breaker and the wall outlet started working again! In addition, he went over multiple options with us including rewiring half the house or the entire house along with new sub panels. Even though it would benefit us to replace our panels he was never pushy and very patiently and calmly explained all of our options before letting us make the final decision. In the end we decided just to go with a new dedicated line for the three kitchen Outlets as that was all we could afford right now. They all work! In the event that I have any electrical issues in the future I will be happy to use Randy again. He is very skilled.

I decided to wait a few months before giving a review because sometimes, you don't know how good the work is until after $$ has exchanged hands and they're long gone. I am pleased to report how competent Mopia Electric is and how they do what they say they're going to do and on schedule. We had the electrical panel replaced, which was a rather big deal since it was one that required a bit more work. (I know it was more work seeing that I got the same story from another electrician too.) I am happy that he took care of pulling permits, meeting the inspector, and everything else to get this done properly. Plan to call back for our kitchen remodel. :)

I called them to see what he would charge
to come to my house and install a GFCI
breaker in the sub panel as when we installed
it, it would not work, keep in mind this call was on
a Sunday afternoon and Randy answered on the
third ring another thing is I have never done business
with them.
Rather than come over during the week and charge me
God knows what, Randy took the time to explain that what
I needed was a GFCI plug, not a breaker, he gave me
detailed instructions on the install of the wiring to the plug.
You can bet that in the future when and if I need
electrical work done, he will be the guy I call.
