Randy and team just upgraded the panel to our home we recently purchased. Mopia Electric handled all of the permitting and communications with the inspector and PG&E; we did not have to lift a finger. They also recently re-wired our home-office which was needed.
This is hands-down THE only company that will be doing all other electrical work in our home.

If you are thinking of hiring an electrician for any job big or small, look no further than Mopia Electric! We recently undertook a major (for us) renovation on a recently purchased older home and hired Randy Mopia to re-wire over half the house along with installing a new panel and sub-panel. We could not have been happier with him and his team, Juan and Jose! Randy was the most professional of all the tradesmen I dealt with as a contractor for my own home- he explained every step and gave me options as we moved forward, plus he is very personable and friendly (as are his employees).
Randy and Co. showed up on time and were about their business in rapid fashion- they also put up with my last minute changes without blinking an eye. We have Phase 2 of our renovation planned for the future, and I wouldn't even think of hiring anyone but Mopia Electric to do it- neither should you!

Randy and his team did ok jobs but charged expensively and lacked of communication at the beginning. Randy divided our project into two stages and charged separately. That is fine if he told us in advance. However, he did not. He only quoted the price for the first stage and made it looked like the price for the whole project. Then in the middle of the project, he surprised us for additional charge of the 2nd stage. Due to the time limit, We could not find anyone else to take over the leftover and thus was forced to pay whatever he asked for the second stage. I Won't recommend him or hire him ever again.

Have been living at my current resident for more than 10 years, and never had any problems except circuit breaking pop and reset. This time the electricity wasn't working, and Mopia guys found a potential fire hazard that whoever install this outlet upstairs was a Moran. Replaced and installed new wiring that made everything work again. The boss or owner was professional and check on me after job was done. I will hire these guys again. The other thing I like about the service is, that they put booties on their shoes so they don't track crap all over my house. Thanks guys

Randy and his crew pulled all the existing electrical system, re-wired my entire house and installed all new lights, vents, and fans. They did a great job, cleaned up their work area at the end of the day, and were communicative throughout the entire process. As a fire prevention inspector and fire investigator, I am always suspicious of contractors and their ability to have their work be code compliant. With Mopia Electric, they had my full trust!
