He's probably fine for your house but I'd avoid for commercial work.

I have had them over to deal with several electrical problems, including one caused by another electrician, and each time they have 1) been available promptly (usually the same day), 2) quick to figure out the problem, 3) done the repairs quickly, and 4) charged a very reasonable rate. I was in need of troubleshooting on a remodel job in an older building so I called Monticello Electric. Gabriella answered my call and said that they would stop by the job at 4 PM that day. Gabriella and Joe showed up 5 minutes early, looked at the job and said that they could do it in about 2 hours and they would start right then. They completed the job in an hour and the finished product is very professionally done. The bonus is that Joe and Gabriella are truly nice people, calm and friendly and very talented. I will hire them again without question.

No power to my house since the night before; he was the third electrician I called, and the only one who answered right away and was available to come to my house that day.
He quickly diagnosed the issue, and had it fixed in two hours which included finding the replacement breaker. All in a friendly manner and at a reasonable cost.
