Patti H.After 10+ years living in the Ft Myers/Estero area, we had occasion to use Mr. Sparky for the first time to resolve an electrical issue in our home. Shane was the technician who was sent to help us. He was extremely neat, personable and professional. He was very thorough in explaining what our problem was. We would definitely recommend Mr. Sparky and especially Shane to resolve electrical issues that you may experience.
Harvey J.When I first hired Mr. Sparky, I was new to Naples and found their work acceptable but expensive. I hired them a second time this year and their work was awful. I hired them to fix my doorbell and to fix roughly 10-15 lights in my newly acquired home. My bill exceeded $4,000. Expensive, like last time but this time it took the technician almost 4 months to complete the job. He was unresponsive to my requests and then ordered the wrong parts. To make a bad situation worse, on his last visit to my home, his shoes had some sort of black grease which soiled the area rug where he was working. I forwarded my $208 rug cleaning bill to the company and have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting reimbursed for the damage they caused. Hire them at your own risk.
Kimberly H.My husband called and set up an appointment for a technician to come out and give us an estimate. The person on the phone told us that the would be by between 10am and 2pm. We were excited to have a simple ceiling fans put up with lighting. We waited . We were told that they would give us a call between 35 and 45 minutes before arrival. Well it was about 1:15pm. We called Mr. Sparky to check and see if our technician may be delayed for any reason. We hadn't received a call or text. The person looked and said, no nothing seems to be delaying him and that they checked...nope no calls or texts from the technician, They also reminded us that the tech will call between 30 and 45 minutes. We said ok. So we waited until 2:15pm. Still no show. We called Mr. Sparky again to see what was going on. We told them that we were still waiting and wanted to know if the technician was coming. The person at Mr. Sparky said that the tech called us at 10:00am and 10:05 am. What? We haven't moved all day and they said he called all of a sudden? Why didn't they tell us that before?? We had other appointments to be at. We told them to cancel the technician. This company is unbelievable, they're motto is Thank You for calling Mr. Sparky, how can we make you smile today?"" You can simply make people smile just by showing up!
Ruger was on time and very knowledgeable.he listened to my concerns about the ceiling height and the length of the chandelier. We discussed further light purchases for my home with regard to weight restrictions. I will use him in the future. Price was great also!

Brian C.I love how the ""customer service"" responds to every bad review on here instead of working on the company's bad customer service. The service guy was extremely rude. Needs a lesson in customer service. Prices were outrageous and couldn't even guarantee that issue would be fixed. I would not waste your time.
Tech was fabulous, work was good. Cost literally came out to $417 per hour and pure labor no parts; unbelievable..... won't happen again
VERY poor experience so far. The sales person made promises but did not keep them. Mainly about quality, professionalism and project management. To induce a sale, he said they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
No business card or Agreement was left upon acceptance - even though was promised.
They started a $6,000+ job yesterday and the tech was did not know how to properly install LED under cabinet tape lighting. Then during the correction, excessive damage was done to the kitchen cabinets. $1,300 to install an outlet in the master bath and it was installed crooked - although it was promised that it wouldn't be.
Replaced outlet protrudes out from wall. A promised master bath Dimmer switch was not installed.
3 of 4 promised LED Dimmer switches for cabinet lighting do NOT match - they are all different.
Even a simple moving of Conduit in the garage couldn't be done well. It was installed all crooked vertically & horizontally. Poor Appearance.
Even though the company knew of their errors, they expected me to sign that everything was done satisfactorily, which they knew it wasn't. Then the rep lied by stating that these words didn't mean what they said. Lastly, they tried to strong-arm us by saying they can't leave our home until we signed the acceptance.
They even sold me some type of ""extra special service plan"" for $99 to get the top priority service. If this was their best, I'm afraid what their other service is like.
I sent a detailed email to the Area Manager, but have not received a response yet.
Guest staying in guest house noticed flickering of tv/light in living room of studio. Called emergency electrician-mr sparky- quote is $7k to fix. Already paid $550 for emergency call/dx. Tech took the breaker with him. And then told me all kinds of stories about how he can't fix it without lots and lots of extra work. And he couldn't guarantee he could come next day to fix.
Tech from Another electric co came next morning and replaced the breaker so it works for now, and is sending another tech this afternoon with a more appropriate fix, larger breaker, which this tech didn't have on his truck, to keep it going. He said of course the other things could be done but they are not essential or urgent. Cost was $160 total from them. So in sum, I called Mr. Sparky in a panic because they were 24 hour emergency service and almost made a very expensive error.
Jane O.I did not hire them after an estimate was started. I felt I was being given a lengthy explanation to a simple ""how much"" to replace something with a lot of ""variables"" and given a hefty fee to ""diagnose"" the issue. The salesman/electrician was polite and on time but I didn't have time for the pitch, which I suspect was more involved than it needed to be. If it wasn't, we'll, I guess I lose out on a ""thorough"" diagnosis.
