If I could give zero stars I would!!! Scare tactics!!!! I had them out for an estimate to relocate a GFI outlet in my master bathroom, and put a ceiling fan box in. The representative noticed my hot tub and said as a licensed electrician he is required to check out everything. He told me my hot tub is dangerous and I could be electrocuted- then asked to see the electrical panel - which he proceeded to pick apart (we just purchased and had our home inspection 3 months ago!) He had me terrified.
After that, he presented me with a quote for over $4400!
And told me I owed him $59 for his estimate. THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED when I set the appointment, received the email or text confirmation
Just be sure to do your homework- and get a few estimates.

We bought a house in March and had Mister Sparky desire the whole house up to code. We had an inspection June 17th which failed. The tech came out the same day to 'Fix it'. The second inspection was today July 2nd and it failed again for the same reason. I talked to a supervisor, he apologized and said people make mistakes and while I understand that it should've been fixed after the first inspection failed.

I would not recommend these people to anyone.
They came out on a service call to install a ""Ring"" video doorbell & not only charged a $59 fee for the call, but tried to rip me off for almost $2,000. Telling me I needed a surge protector.
Just to install the Ring, the estimate was almost $400. Way overcharging.
There's no way it should cost more than $150.
I ushered ""Mike"" out of the house & gave him 3 $20's. He had no change.
I wouldn't use or recommend this R.I.P. off company to anyone, ever.

Call Hoffman electric way better company!! Mr sparky showed up late, were overpriced, and kind of rude having 2 trucks in your driveway fixing a simple electric outlet. Might be good with bigger jobs but are not to good with residential

Do NOT use this company.. They do not follow up. Had electrical outlets moved underneath the cabinets in my kitchen which was newly remodeled. Sent out an unqualified electrician who proceeded to put 15 holes in my wall. Pricing was off the wall High but we thought we were getting quality work which we did not. I would hate for anyone to have this experience.

Gave me an estimate for new electric service in ft Meyers of almost $5,000 got 2 more estimates for $1,400. Outrageous prices, I think most of their reviews on here are bots.

Do not call these people! They are out to rip you off. Wanted to charge 3k for something that costs 800 from another company. Neighbors have had bad experiences as well. This is one of the most crooked companies I've ever come across.




Excuse me? The company that came out behind you was very reputable and I saved 2200. Part looks the same to me! I'm not going to waste my time by going on here if I were only saving a few bucks but this was complete robbery

So today we had electrical work done for our home, and my husband and I are so happy with the work done.
Brian was the man that did everything we needed.
What a hard worker and so polite.
Brian explained what we needed and did a wonderful job.
We highly recommend this company.

Not happy at all! I will not recommended it! I was without power for 2 months. Had to call my self to get my electricity turned back on! We now month 5th and their work again didn't pass inspection for the numerous times!!! On top of it they told me to change certain things that the inspector said I didn t need to change!! They just wants to Bill hight and don't know what they are talking about!

Mr. Sparky is a TOTAL SCAM!!!! The person that answered the phone, confirmed the appointment and the electrician who came to the house to look at our job were all very nice but....the prices they charge are HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!! I called and told them that we had a small strip light underneath our kitchen cabinet that would work intermittently. They told me that there was a $60 call charge when I made the appointment, which I was fine with. Once the guy arrived and looked at the light for 10-15 minutes he said that the light (and all other strip lights under my kitchen cabinets) needed to be replaced. He then said that it would cost $2100 to do it!!! Of course, we replied with no thank you. As he left he handed us a $300 invoice which included the $60 call charge and a $240 diagnosis fee. I cant believe how this company takes advantage of unsuspecting people. The following day we hired another electrician to come and look at the light. In ten minutes the light was repaired and he charged us a total of $80. Our advice is to stay clear away from Mr.Sparky as we learned first hand that they are a TOTAL RIP OFF.
