The electrician came today from Mr. Sparky
I need a portable generator transfer switch he quoted me for that $2000 which is much more than double than it should cost
The gentleman was very pushy he spoke a few minutes about the job he had to do and after that is like I had to deal with a financial advisor
Before he quoted the price for me he mention they give credit and after that he kept asking me how much I was willing to spend on that instalation

This company was very pushy in trying to get me to make an appointment. I was calling to see if they could help with replacing a hot water tank which was leaking. I wanted to have an ondemand unit installed a new that I needed electrical work done on top of the old tank being removed. Was trying to find out if I also needed to get a plumber to come out. The person on the phone was more concerned with booking the appointment than trying to give me guidance. She also told me that the estimate was free, but then slipped in at the end that there was a $60 service charge. I then told her I would call back to book an appointment, but she insisted several times to book the appointment now and then I can call in to cancel. As I suspected, I ended up needing to cancel and when I called back to try, I was told by the girl that answered that I had to talk with a different department. When I got to the cancel person, He was cancelled my order and hung up on me. Didn't say goodbye or anything. Just said.. ok your cancelled and hung up.

What a shit show!! Very irresponsible practice. We had a new exterior breaker panel installed and were SUPPOSED to have smoke and Co2 detectors installed inside. Breaker panel was done, clean install but lazy employees left their garbage in the yard for us to clean up. It took MANY requests to finally get the panel inspection done and as expected the representative from Mr Sparky blew more smoke up our ass ensuring he would address the incomplete detector(s) install. Three weeks later and not a peep. Save the headache and find a responsible and trustworthy company, you won't get that here

Very Very Disappointing!!! We are in the middle of selling our house and had 2 inspections done by us when we bought the house and one by the previous buyer. All the electric panels passed with flying colors but Mr Sparky advised the two breaker disconnects located on the outside of the home needed to be replaced. These were breakers for the ac units in the house, after a $59 service fee they gave the buyer a $10,000 estimate for $800 worth of parts and maybe $1000 in labor. This company is a joke!! BEWARE!!

Turns out my experience at Mister Sparky was unexpectedly improved by Mr. Bruce Fort, the regional manager. After reading my review, he contacted me and made things right. He was pleasant, polite, considerate and customer service oriented. He lived up to his 100% customer satisfaction guarantee policy. Thank you!

Mister Sparky guys were fantastic. I had ranger hood and a ceiling fan to be installed and as scheduled Mister Sparky sent me 2 electricians. The job was done quickly. Allen and Pierre were very knowledgeable and polite. Excellent job guys!!

I am only rating my experience with this company- I did not have work done by them- I would seriously reconsider if you are thinking of using them - my experience was limited but gave me a sense of how they operate. I went to Home Advisor to find an electrician..I filled out the form and specifically said NO PHONE CALLS..well within 10 mins I get a call form Mr Sparky...I had considered calling them but wasnt doing anything so quickly...I mentioned how I had said no calls...the man calling glossed over it....said we can come give you an estimate...blah blah...then he siad there was a ""special for Home Advisor""..and it would only be $29. Well I need quite a bit done and wanted a quote only..he explained the eelctrician would come and ready to do whatever needed..right then....well I wanted quotes to go through and read what is being not just a small quick job...But I set an appt for this past Thursday..I realized later that I couldnt do it on the Thurs ...so I emailed back from the email confirmation..that I needed to xxl....well..I then get ANOTHER call...I wasnt home form the same guy...well I can waive the fee if thats why your xxling...blah blah...please call me back to discuss...the day before I received an email saying they were coming the next day...I again emailed back DONT COME....thurs morning rolls around I am working and busy..I start getting texts and calls that they were on the way..I think I got 4 texts and 4 calls on Thurs...so my take away..after reading the other reviews..I think this company is set up with telemarketing mentality...charge for everything...don listen to customers requests (dont call me)..and the ""special""..""I can waive fee""..are all turn offs..most reputable ekectricians will give you an estimate free....so I would avoid this company if I were you. I did..........

Damien Nelsom and Scott were sent the next day of my request. They both were courteous, polite and straight foward (in a very professional way). They explained the full process, what to expect and completed the job efficiently.
I will definitely use Mr Sparky for any future electrical needs and hope to get Damien and Scott again.

This was my first time contracting out the work with Mr Sparky. From the initial scoping of the project to the delivery of the instal was professional. There were some minor unforeseen (original technician called in sick) and we had Damian who had to pinch hit. His knowledge, professionalism and details was on point. Love the clean install without an obstruction with wiring. Exactly what I had in mind.
The value for the work was fair. Will definitely use Damian for my next work if required.
