I saw a commercial on TV so thought I'd give them a try. I called & explained I have 2 ceiling fans, the lights work but fans don't. One of the fans I know we tried wiring the fan but couldn't figure it out so we just left the fan disconnected & settled for the lights. I was told they would wave the $59 service fee. Yesterday Joe came out (Really nice guy) he checked 1 ceiling fan he unscrewed the ceiling cover & he said he needed to check to see if the ceiling fan was getting power ? the light was on ! Anyway he never checked anything else & told me both ceiling fans needed motors & not worth fixing. We had purchased a new fan & asked how much to change one of them, he said $189 so we declined. Before he left I asked him to check an outlet for me because it was away from the wall. He removed the extended metal box & it's fine now then he told me our circuit breakers were old. ( I don't believe that) I asked what I owe because the service fee was waved. He told me either I pay the $59 or $90 for travel fee. I chose the $59. This morning I got up & decided to work with the pull chain on the fan he checked- guess what- the fan is working fine. He also left the ceiling cover off & I hope the screws are in there. Now I have to find an electrician to rewire my other fan. I won't be using Mister Sparky in Pompano again.

I needed a chandelier hung, and 2 dimmer switches installed-1 standard and 1 is a smart dimmer/timer. I was notified quickly and a date an time span was scheduled. I was texted a reminder a day in advance. The morning of the appointment I was sent a text that the electrician is on his way with a picture of him. His name is Walker. He arrived soon after and provided courteous and fast service. It was a bit pricey, but the service provided by Walker was great!

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Mister Sparky of Pompano Beach is no longer offering reliable or professional customer service. Despite being pleased in the past, I am left hanging on a holiday weekend with little to no notice because the tech was ""pulled in another direction due to a family issue"". After waiting for several hours they decided to notify me late in the day that our preset appointment was not going to happen. The only offer made was I could be placed on a standby list for a potential Saturday appointment - no guarantees. Completely unacceptable and the arrogant operator suggested I write a poor review just to top things off. Disappointed is an understatement.

The electrician came today from Mr. Sparky
I need a portable generator transfer switch he quoted me for that $2000 which is much more than double than it should cost
The gentleman was very pushy he spoke a few minutes about the job he had to do and after that is like I had to deal with a financial advisor
Before he quoted the price for me he mention they give credit and after that he kept asking me how much I was willing to spend on that instalation

This company was very pushy in trying to get me to make an appointment. I was calling to see if they could help with replacing a hot water tank which was leaking. I wanted to have an ondemand unit installed a new that I needed electrical work done on top of the old tank being removed. Was trying to find out if I also needed to get a plumber to come out. The person on the phone was more concerned with booking the appointment than trying to give me guidance. She also told me that the estimate was free, but then slipped in at the end that there was a $60 service charge. I then told her I would call back to book an appointment, but she insisted several times to book the appointment now and then I can call in to cancel. As I suspected, I ended up needing to cancel and when I called back to try, I was told by the girl that answered that I had to talk with a different department. When I got to the cancel person, He was cancelled my order and hung up on me. Didn't say goodbye or anything. Just said.. ok your cancelled and hung up.

What a shit show!! Very irresponsible practice. We had a new exterior breaker panel installed and were SUPPOSED to have smoke and Co2 detectors installed inside. Breaker panel was done, clean install but lazy employees left their garbage in the yard for us to clean up. It took MANY requests to finally get the panel inspection done and as expected the representative from Mr Sparky blew more smoke up our ass ensuring he would address the incomplete detector(s) install. Three weeks later and not a peep. Save the headache and find a responsible and trustworthy company, you won't get that here

Very Very Disappointing!!! We are in the middle of selling our house and had 2 inspections done by us when we bought the house and one by the previous buyer. All the electric panels passed with flying colors but Mr Sparky advised the two breaker disconnects located on the outside of the home needed to be replaced. These were breakers for the ac units in the house, after a $59 service fee they gave the buyer a $10,000 estimate for $800 worth of parts and maybe $1000 in labor. This company is a joke!! BEWARE!!

Turns out my experience at Mister Sparky was unexpectedly improved by Mr. Bruce Fort, the regional manager. After reading my review, he contacted me and made things right. He was pleasant, polite, considerate and customer service oriented. He lived up to his 100% customer satisfaction guarantee policy. Thank you!

Mister Sparky guys were fantastic. I had ranger hood and a ceiling fan to be installed and as scheduled Mister Sparky sent me 2 electricians. The job was done quickly. Allen and Pierre were very knowledgeable and polite. Excellent job guys!!
