These guys are just as shady as the rest of the rip-off plumbers. Had a clog, ordered service, they came out, said the garbage disposal was leaking so they wouldn't clear the clog without replacing the disposal, gave me an estimate for $1100. Are they kidding me....total rip-off...Purchased a disposal for $150 at Loews, handyman replaced it, clear the clog for $100...end of story...
Don't trust these guys....shady shady shady....

The radio commercials sounds good "" shows up on time"". The reality is anything but. I called and scheduled the service in the morning, and they called at 10AM saying that they cannot make it and would need to reschedule it for the afternoon between 1-4PM. At 30 minutes to 4PM I called again and the answer i got was they will send someone out in the next 30 minutes. At 4Pm another call, this time they said they will send someone out from a different company to do the service. What a rip off. I could have called this other company directly and not have to wait all day for this service. Next time i will use another company on this.

This place is awful. They had me waiting all day for them. The day before they called to confirm they were coming. Then, the next day, the day I was supposed to receive service I heard nothing. When there was only 20 minutes left in the 4 hour window I called and asked where they were. they said they didn't have a technician and could they come the next day. Why didn't they call and tell me this? Why didn't they leave me a message or an email?

Asking me if I wanted to reschedule only added insult to injury. Why would I take a day off work to wait for them all day again???

Awesome Service while getting ripped off! If you have any job other than a tiny clog get ready to hear $$$$$$$$ ridiculous quotes. These guys are horrible. I honestly don't know how they stay in business.

Guess I should have checked here first! No wonder they have a 1.5 rating. I needed a simple drain cleaning in my garage for the washer so I could do laundry, I called Mike Diamond because of their commercials, They were very courteous and friendly now. It was Friday and they said they could come between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday...GREAT i thought! I called work and turned down overtime work that I had already agreed to do do i could stay home and get this fixed. 1pm came and went about 2pm they called and said...
Out tech is stuck on another job and can not make it today and they wanted to reschedule for Sunday I said that would be fine and asked what time? Their reply was between 2pm and 6pm. My reply was that if they cant make it today then I need to be first in the que Sunday and I need a specific arrival time! I waited all day today and turned down work to be here, I am not waiting all day again tomorrow. They said they could not do that and someone would be there around 2pm to 6pm Sunday. I was understanding, things happen but now I am mad and a little confused, they can't even help me out even a little, all they are willing to do is inconvenience me??? Long Story short I told them where to stick it and called Roto Rooter, they came out in a couple of hours, very professional and knowledgeable! It cost me more but I am glad to pay it for the professionalism. I am very tired of these companies thinking our time is worth nothing and that we should just sit around and wait until they decide when they feel like arriving!

So - I listened to their great commercials & website. According to them, they have a 4.9 out of 5 review. I should have checked yelp! The rating here is 1.5 out of 5.

I found a coupon on their website that said ""Free Housecall"" I have a tub that is slow to drain and a free housecall sounded good. So after speaking to 4 different people - even though the coupon says ""drain clogs"" - they would not honor the coupon. Don't call them until they learn how to write an advertisement. Forget that - don't call them at all because of their TERRIBLE customer service! I hate to give you their website but I want you to see the badly written coupon for yourself.

Mike Diamond Plumbing is a terrible Company to deal with. Dont use them even if they are your last resort!! Be warned!

We had a kitchen sink stoppage at 8pm on Friday night. I tried to get it unstopped, but no luck. I called Mike Diamond. They answered the phone straight away and said the next available slot was The next day between 9am and 1pm. Perfect.

At 8am my phone rings and its Mike Diamond telling me the tech was about an hour away. Perfect. Orlando, the tech, arrived at just after 9 and was very nice and straight forward. After trying for a solid hour, we had nasty grease/fat/something coming out the clean out, but he was unable to clear out blockage. But he felt sure a hydro jet would clear it. He then called dispatch and another tech, Erik, and arranged to come back later in the afternoon.

At 430pm, Orlando called and said he and Erik were cleaning up at a job and would be at our house in 60 to 90 minutes. About 75 minutes later, then pulled up.

Sure enough, with a little work, the hydro jet got the nasty (!!!) clog out despite them having to work in the dark after 6pm on a Saturday.

Kudos to Orlando for the return trip to see things through to completion, and Erik for coming with the right tool and knowledge. Both had great demeanors and were friendly.

I didn't smell them to make sure they were the ""smell good plumbers"" but I the whole experience was positive. And, this is the second time I've used MIke Diamond, and the second time it was a no BS, straight up good job.

I called with a kitchen sink hot water valve problem at about noon (1-800-446-6453). I was told that the plumber will respond between 1 P.M. and 5 P.M.
When he didn't show up, I recalled and told them that I'm still without water to my house and still no plumber. The ""Office"" told me that he can't come until tomorrow after 1 P.M. I stated that we can't go another 24 hours without water, toilets, shower, etc. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. At this point I was told that emergency service would be provided but, the service call amount is doubled. RIPOFF!!! I am VERRRY UNHAPPY with ""Mike Diamond"". The last time they came to my house they were 45 minutes later than promised and I was not called to tell me that they would be late.
MIKE DIAMOND STINKS! They need a plumber!

A total ripoff. They came out to give us a price for hooking up 2 new dishwashers, a kitchen faucet, garbage disposer, sink drain and water filter, all of which were owner provided and on site. $2800, including a $1200 replacement pressure regulator they said was defective that we hadn't asked for. Really? The other bids were $500, or $85 per hour plus parts. I suppose for every few $70 estimates they find some poor desperate old lady on social security who doesn't know any better, but I'd be ashamed to make a living that way. Their plumbers may smell good as the ads say, but their prices stink.
