I would give them a ZERO but that is not possible.

You keep hearing the commercials on the radio about what a great job Mike Diamond does and how quickly they come to the rescue.

This is the THIRD time I have called Mike Diamond. And it's the third time that they have let me down.

The first time I called them, it was a Saturday about noon and they told me they couldn't have anyone out until MONDAY!

The second time I called them, it was a Sunday, Monday was a holiday and they said they couldn't have someone out until TUESDAY!!!

Today (Sunday) I called them at about 11a. They said they would be out, but it would be after 2p. Now at 2p they call me and tell me that they won't be able to make it after all. The plumber is on another job. They said that they can make it on Monday Morning. I guess they only have one plumber??

Mike Diamond is a SCAM. There are a dozen listings for them but you must get routed based on your area code. I am so sorry that I cannot schedule my plumbing problems during regular business hours. I also cannot take off work to get a clogged drain unclogged.

Mike Diamond, you have lost my respect and trust for good! The $99 special apparently is only good for some people and only during regular business hours.

Just had Mike Diamond come out again because their work was not done properly. After charging me 250.00 for a flapper, and repeatedly telling me how I needed a special part, I continued to have the same problem... a running toilet. After 3 calls, they came out again and then they tell me, that it now wasn't the part, but now I needed a new toilet? I asked for adjustment on the initial charge and he said they wouldn't do it...Very poor customer service. Attitude problem. I would not recommend this company. If they would have been nice about it and offered to adjust the charge, I would have them install a new toilet. They destroyed any trust with their work. I think the plumber who came out should attend some seminars on how to deal with a customer.

I heard the ad that said $99 unclog any drain. I called and waited until 11:00 am. Nobody showed. Called again and waited until 1:00 pm. The guy fonally came. He looked at the drain and said,""oh i cant use my snake so i will gove you an estimate on a bigger job.""
The guy didnt even try to unclog the drain. He went straight to the upsale. What a liar.

Giving them two stars because one of the technicians actually knew what he was doing. Surprising how quickly this company went down the toilet (pun intended). We used them earlier this year to remove an old garbage disposal and have used them in years past with no complaints. This time was a fiasco. We needed a stacked washer/dryer unit hooked up so we called. One technician came out ( this was Friday) and told us we needed all the pipes replaced, which was true. He said we needed a few other things replaced to bring up to code. Okay. He went back to the truck and was there for close to an hour. He started work and when he needed to go under the house, he stripped to maybe his shorts and put on the coveralls, however, he left it unzipped so my mom and I could see his naked hairy chest. Very unprofessional. He made himself decent when the other technician showed up, an older Asian man who knew plumbing. He did a lot of improvements that made sense, and that's why two stars. Since they couldn't finish the work we were scheduled for that day, we were told he'd be back the next day, but then towards the end of the day he said he had an appointment and would come back Monday at 9 am. Monday 9 am came and went. Finally at 11 am we get a call. We told them forget it as I had to get ready for work.

I don't know what is happening to companies but they sure don't give a rat's @$$ about the customer. Will never use again.

I called Mike Diamond at 8:30 am as my toilet was overflowing. I informed the customer service representative, I was having guest at my home in the afternoon as she assured me the plumber would be their before 1:00pm. At 12:45 a customer representative called and stated she was waiting for the technician to clear the call and he would be right there.

At 1:15 I called and inquired where was the technician and she told me he was running behind and she could not have him stop his current job to get to me. I told her you advertise ""you guarantee the technician would be there on time!. Her response was there is nothing I can do. He is on another call. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she stated no one was in the office on the weekend. - really . t is now 2;25 and my guest arrive in 35 minutes. No plumber. I

Truth in advertisement. Their whole line is a lie!. Not on time, not professional and the whole experience what horrible. Needless to say, my event was ruined.!


Stay away from these guys- they should be put out of business!

I rate them a Zero. I needed a new water heater. I am a Senior Citizen female who
was totally taken advantage of. The technician was charming, but had a very sharp
pencil and just kept writing things down that he had to do and/or replace. He lied
to me on several occasions. My main complaint is they charged me $5,810.00 for a
new water heater. I was totally shocked and after they left, the more I thought about
it, the madder I became. Isn't it against the law to take advantage of Senior Citizens
who live only on their social security? I feel totally used and very frustrated. This
situation caused my blood pressure to soar and had to go the my Cardiologist.
Very bad experience which I am fighting the dollar amount as I write this. Pray for
me to get positive results.

The plumber shows up sits in his truck for about 20 minutes or so then comes in looks at the job says I'm sorry we don't snake inside the house I said are kidding me... he proceeded to tell me I have a buddy who can do it so he calls him the buddy and the buddy says sure I can snake it for 150 but then changes to 175 cause he's got to.move the toilet wth I said your kidding me right I'll move the toilet out myself them the Mike diamond plumber says fine but do you have a wax for toilet I said no but home depot does. I can't stand being played cause I'm a female... ugh horrible service...

I should have read the other reviews. This is my first 1 star review. They mistakenly diagnosed our issue as a bad ""water regulator"" and when the issue came back, and i am NOT kidding you said: We don't know, it's probably a bad toilet flapper.... just get that replaced... and left.

Ok, so I paid $800 to replace a perfectly fine water regulator, and you won't replace a $5 toilet flapper to fix the issue that you MISDIAGNOSED?

These people have no idea what they're doing, and have NO sympathy for the customer. When I told one of my friends about this they told me that when they used them that their technician kept hitting on her constantly to the point that she got so uncomfortable that she had to bring her neighbor to sit with her while he did the work.

I think zero stars it's too high rating for this company. They do work that is not authorized and then expect you to pay the additional fee. When I called to complain about this the manager didn't seem to care that I would never use their company again. They have no service recovery/customer service

We will not be using Mike Diamond Plumbing again. We called at 10:30 or so and were given an arrival time frame of 11:00-1:00. When 2:30 rolled around with no one showing and no phone call to update us, we called them--only to be told ""Oh, he's running behind"" Finally at about 3:00 he showed up. He fixed the problem, but we were charged double because the kitchen sink did not have an outside clean out...huh? We have an outside cleanout, but not specifically for the kitchen sink? Then he didn't clean up the mess he made, yet put ""cleaned up area"" on the bill. I will be looking for nice equipment to do future fixes myself as the cost of THIS visit would have probably paid for it.
