I got a last minute appointment and the electrician was very nice and helpful. He found the issue after doing a lot of troubleshooting. Turned out it wasn't a big issue but he was thorough. Also touched up issues from the original electrician. Highly recommend and they were very communicative.

MEL Electric just installed four ceiling fans at my home. I was referred to Mel's Electric by a friend who has used them before, and I can't agree more. Max and Eric showed up 15 mins early and waited until 8 AM to knock on my door. They were professional and knew exactly what to do. Both Max and Eric kept my wife and I informed step-by-step on precisely what they were doing and did not have any Hiccups during the installation.

I started with three ceiling fans at first, but when I saw the outcome of what Max and Eric did, I had to get another fan installed in my office. It was a last-minute request, and Max stated it would not be a problem, although he did not have enough equipment to install the 4th one; if I don't mind going to Lowe's and picking up what he needed, he can have the 4th fan installed, and he made it happen.

My wife and I couldn't be happier, and they completed the job in a timely fashion and were done by 3:30 PM. Both Max and Eric cleaned and vacuumed the rooms where the fan was installed, took out the garbage, and did not leave a mess at all. We were impressed. Mel Electric is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I had my front and backyard landscape lighting project done by Mel Electric. I am very pleased and satisfied with the way that Matt and his team handled this project. They are very professional and transparent. With today's supply chain delay problem, they had kept the communication channel open and kept me updated fairly well. Although it took them two trips to install all lights and wiring, the project was finished within a reasonable timeframe. Importantly, the quality of the work and the products are superb.

MEL Electric has been wonderful to work with on multiple projects fixing or improving our home. They have done an excellent job every time diagnosing and fixing electrical issues that were blowing our breakers, as well as installing new lighting, ceiling fans, and outlets while problem solving around a tricky attic configuration - even suggesting appropriate recessed light trims and bulbs from the thousands available.

Based on our great experiences with them we utilized their services to install a whole house back-up generator which has worked flawlessly through multiple power outages. They even have a convenient service plan to keep it maintained.

Through all of it they have been professional, on time, friendly, and there have been no unhappy surprises! I highly recommend them.

My electrical problem wasn't solved after 2 hrs electrician said he honestly didn't understand the problem. When invoice arrived I emailed company said I wasn't satisfied would of course pay invoice, did they give senior discount. Received call told no but would talk to owner received long email from owner stating I did not give tech time to find problem. I responded then rec'd two more long emails one telling me I had better not slander his company. I'm a 73 year old woman all he had to say was sorry good luck with next electrician. By the 3rd email I was feeling very uncomfortable and said do not email me again.
