Our portfolio features renowned vineyards such as the Sutter Home estate, Beringer, Charles Krug, Quintessa, the Coppola estate, the Trinchero estate, among others. Bill McNamara, the owner delivers superior service and strives to wrap up each project efficiently and safely. Identifying a good electrician who values both the work and the client is difficult. Bill avoids shortcuts in his work.

McNamara Electric specializes in luxury residential work and commercial electrical projects. We handle various electrical tasks that require short turnaround times and excellent quality.

Bill McNamara has been working as a licensed electrician. Bill's journey began assisting in the family business in Atascadero, where his father started a small family electrical business. At age 13, Bill wired his first house and soon after decided he wanted to start a business of his own. Bill moved to Napa Valley in 1986 and started his contracting career at a motorsport venue for seven years called Sears Point Raceway, now known as Infineon Raceway. As Napa Valley's wine scene flourished, so did. The demand for electrical contractors increased as new wineries emerged. For approximately 15 years, he subcontracted a trusted electrical contractor when necessary. Today, Bill specializes in on-demand service and small jobs.

Bill currently resides on a ranch in Angwin. He supports a regional Midget racer, the talented Britton Bock. He takes everything he works on—whether in his profession or in his leisure time—with commitment and invests his passion into it. He consistently has innovative suggestions—whether it’s the placement of a light fixture or the type of light bulbs to use. Customers often react with enthusiasm, saying, “That’s a brilliant idea, Bill!”.
