McNamara Electric is dedicated to high-quality electrical work, assisting Napa Valley for 1987. Our portfolio features prestigious vineyards such as Sutter Home Winery, Beringer, Charles Krug Winery, the Quintessa estate, Francis Ford Coppola, the Trinchero estate, among others. Bill McNamara, our founder provides outstanding service and works to complete each project with precision and in a safe manner. Finding a skilled electrician who takes pride in the job and the customer is difficult. Bill avoids shortcuts in his work.

We focus on luxury residential work and commercial electrical projects. We take on all types of electrical jobs that necessitate quick completion and top quality.

Since 1976, Bill McNamara has been working as a licensed electrician. He began assisting in the family business in Atascadero, CA, where his parent established a small family electrical business. At the young age of 13, he wired his first house and shortly thereafter decided he wanted to create a venture. In 1986, he relocated to Napa Valley and started his contracting career at a Raceway for seven years called Sears Point, now known as Infineon. As Napa Valley's wine scene flourished, McNamara Electric expanded. The demand for electrical contractors increased as new wineries emerged. For a decade and a half, he subcontracted a trusted electrical contractor when necessary. Currently, he focuses on service calls and minor projects.

Bill makes his home on a farm in Angwin, CA. He supports a regional Midget Sprint car driver, the talented Britton Bock. Bill approaches everything he works on—whether at work or during his free time—with commitment and gives it his all. Bill always comes up with creative solutions—whether it’s about where to install a light fixture or which light bulbs to choose. Clients frequently say enthusiasm, exclaiming, “What a fantastic idea, Bill!”.
