I hired Bill to come fix my kitchen lights and he was great. He found an issue with the wiring that was making the lights not work for half of the kitchen, and had my lights back on in no time! Great experience with Matthews Electric, I would recommend them to everyone!

Wow! Amazing service, quick and reliable!
My sister and I just bought houses in the same neighborhood and she had just got some pendant lights installed over her kitchen counter, and when I saw them I said I want some too, lol!!! She recommended Matthews Electric to me! Called in, and got an appointment within 2 days! They came in and had my pendant lights up within an hour!!! Amazing job!!

Bill and his assistant Rob were right on time, friendly, professional and respectful of our home. We hired them to install two new chandeliers. One in the entry way and one in our formal dining room. They had to move our dining room table to install a new chandelier. They moved the table and all chairs with care and made sure to put everything back when they were finished. They left our home with perfectly hung chandeliers. They took the old chandeliers and boxes of the new ones out to our garage for us. Everything was cleaned up and put back when they left. Very efficient and professional. Will definitely use them again!

If I could give 10+ stars I would! Matthews electric is my go to with all electrical concerns for many years now. Bill is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, prompt and most importantly kind. His work is impeccable. We moved into a new home and he installed multiple lights for us. He made sure everything was perfect. I've never seen someone be so precise, you can tell he is very passionate about his work. He made sure the lights were all even, measured it multiple times and made sure I was happy with them. They look fantastic! Bill also mounted and installed multiple TV's for us and add additional wiring that was needed. We just purchased a Tesla and needed the charger installed ASAP and he came the next day and installed it for us! Just last week our oven stopped working and Bill answered the phone right away and was able to fix it the same day. He was on time and knew immediately what the issue was and was able to resolve it immediately! I refer everyone I know to Matthews electric, they are the best!

Did not show up to estimate. Did not answer phone calls. Calls an hour after appointment time to say they're running late. (Bill) Hung up on after saying time won't work, will look into someone else that's more prompt.

Edit: I did not misunderstand our conversation. I even asked if you would be calling at 9am in which you failed to do so. You then blame the customer for your mistake.

Our dedicated outlet for our sprinkler system quit and Bill came out same-day and found and corrected the issue within minutes. (Literally, like 2 minutes. Super friendly and professional. Best of all, since it was such a simple fix (I'm no electrician) he refused payment!
Not suggesting hel'll work for free, but it tells me this is a standup guy. Honest and knowledgeable! Matthew's has a new customer for life!

I reached out to Matthew's Electric mid May 2021 to get a price on installing a 10 Circuit Transfer Switch. I decided to go with his company after interviewing several other companies. He arrived at my residence and installed TS Box in 2 Hours. We tested thumbs up. The quality of work outstanding, and they were priced right.

Made an appointment to get a quote for recessed lighting. Never showed. Called office to see if there was a mix up with time and no one answered. Left a message and no call back. Don't even bother with this company.

Back burner....Started a job with me, was told to call back to schedule a day to finish. It took a month and an angry phone call to finish what they started. They came highly recommended, but I think you need to have a big money job in order to receive any kind of professional and courteous response. It was also quite enjoyable listening to the electrician curse a blue streak when things weren't going his way. Thankfully no little ones were around. I will look for another company for sure!

Bill was on time, installed 3 problem ceiling fans, and cleaned up nicely. I will hire him for all of our electrician needs in the future. He is a delight to have in our home. Definitely 5 stars.
