In late July 2023, we had a dangerous situation where several of the circuit breakers in our electric subpanel burned and melted. Our home warranty service didn't have anyone available, so authorized us to contact an outside provider. I reached out to Matthews Electric after seeing them suggested on a community Facebook page. Bill responded the same day! Even though he'd been working a long day on another job, he came to our home late the same afternoon. He reviewed the situation and advised us of the necessary repairs. He even waited with us while we were on hold for 20 minutes to speak to our home warranty rep, so he could explain to them the work to be done (as required by the home warranty service).

Understanding the danger of the situation, and our anxiety over it, Bill returned and made the repairs on what would have been his day off! Bill completed the work beautifully, and without complaint - despite the miserable heat, leaving us feeling safe and able to use our A/C!

Bill's wife, Gina, runs the office, and she was amazing as well. Gina was incredibly helpful working with our home warranty company (no easy feat!) to get them all the information they required to approve the out-of-network service.

Bill even came back at no charge to diagnose a problem we were having with a hallway light, and was spot-on. We made the repair he suggested, and had no more trouble.

Can't begin to express how pleased we are to have been lucky enough to connect with such a talented electrician, and to have had the pleasure of working with such a gracious team as Bill and his wife, Gina!

Bill is very business-like, professional, and knowledgeable. He provided a written estimate and completed the work in a timely manner. He arrived when he said he would, and if he needed to be a little late, he called to let me know. He did an excellent job of installing new bathroom lighting and completing all my other electrical jobs. He is very neat and careful, and he cleans up very well when he is finished. He is also very pleasant and patient.

I recently ordered a Tesla, and I had no real life experience dealing with electricity. The only knowledge I had was through research online, but nothing compares to their experience with this line of work. We highly recommend Matthews Electric for any type of electrical needs. Bill was helpful when we had difficulty with our diy outlet replacement project and replacement of bathroom lighting fixtures. We were so happy with his work we had him back to move a dining room chandelier and replace can light and light switches after repainting. Great service. Friendly personality. Quality work. Wow! Amazing service, quick and reliable!
My sister and I just bought houses in the same neighborhood and she had just got some pendant lights installed over her kitchen counter, and when I saw them I said I want some too, lol!!! She recommended Matthews Electric to me! Called in, and got an appointment within 2 days! They came in and had my pendant lights up within an hour!!! Amazing job!!
