Had an electric emergency early in the afternoon I called Mark Snyder Electric who passed the request on to their senior electrician. Even though they were in the middle of their busy day Dave found time to come out to my house and quickly and professionally fixed the problem. It was very nice of Mark Snyder Electric to fit me in on their very busy day. This business is very reasonably priced and everyone I have come in contact with is extremely professional. Initially, my first contact with David was okay. Fairly responsive and gave a thorough in person quote of a project where I needed to power and lighting added to a room. When I tried to set up a date for the job. There was no response. Found a professional electric company that completed the job in one day and saved some money as the Mark Snyder Electric quote was higher.

We contacted Snyder Electric for two projects. One was to inquire about adding batteries to our solar system. The other was to add a transfer switch to our electric panel so we could connect our generator in case of a power failure. After several phone calls and emails, Mark finally got back to us. After some discussion we decided to wait on adding batteries. Mark told us to send pictures of our panel to him and he said he would get back to us. We sent all the requested pictures.

After several ""weeks"" of phone calls and emails-he never did. I spoke to Molly on four occasions and each time she assured me that Mark would get back to me. He never did. If this is the quality of their service-follow ups etc. I would be reluctant to hire this company for a project of any size. Maybe that's why they never got back to me. The transfer switch job was not big enough for them.

At first, I though I'd found my 'forever go to' electrical service. I spoke to David and he was very knowledgable, providing an evaluation of what needed to be accomplished through texted photos and phone conversations. Then, it took weeks to get a cost quote. Once the quote came it took several more weeks to get a scheduled appointment. Then on the appointment date, they never showed up. I waited, and waited, then called them and they didn't even have me on their schedule (and they are the ones that gave me the appointment day and time). I could go on, however no need. It doesn't matter how much experience and knowledge a business can provide, if they have no customer service acumen and they don't follow through.....

At about midnight on Christmas Eve our property management firm was looking for an after-hours electrician after exhausting our current list of vendors. Mark Snyder promptly replied, set an appointment for Christmas morning, arrived on time, was professional and courteous to our tenant, provided photos of the repair, and followed up with a detailed invoice at a very reasonable cost. For a property manager, it doesn't get much better than that!

Service man came out and was very informative and did good work on what he could do at the time. Made a list of the rest of the work to be done and we paid him. About a week later I talked to their office and sent some pictures to help with their estimate and that the owner was working on our solar system problem and would get back to me. Our solar was the main reason we called them out. I called and left a message twice and never heard back. Even a call to say they couldn't do the work would have been nice.

After a few communication problems, the boss took over and fixed everything. Thank goodness for him!

Senior electrician came out, was very knowledgeable. Fixed 2 problems easily enough. Didn't try to upsell.
They aren't the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to paying for existing and knowledge.!

Payment was quick and easy. Over the phone with credit card. Took less than 45 seconds! Happy customer!

Id definitely use them again.. Not sure if they would come see me so was the customer from hell.
