I found Makena electric through a neighbor's recommendation on nextdoor, and was so happy I did. Not only were Andre's prices very reasonable, but he was able to juggle and change his schedule to fit my project in on a day that suited me. Plus Andre is just a nice person and a pleasure to work with. He put in a ring camera and two motion sensitive lights for us outside the house, as well as an EV charger in the garage. He made sure everything was working perfectly before he left and even texted me the next morning to make sure my EV charger was behaving. I am glad I have found my ""go-to"" electrician.

I was really stressed with having to find a trustworthy and reliable electrician to handle my problem. My mom is usually the one that looks for an electrician but she's currently out of the country and the last thing I would want to do is make her worry. Plus, I never liked any of the electricians she found. They always seem to be ripping her off and their vibe wasn't very friendly either. It felt like we owed them something even thought we paid and they would try scare us with their findings so they can try make more money off of us.

Naturally, I first reached out to the top rated electricians in my area. They all turned me down except for Andre. He responded immediately. I admit, I was cautious at first because of my previous experiences; Yet, I went with my gut and scheduled the appointment for the next day.

The next day near the time of the appointment Andre let me know through text when they would arrive. Right when I met Andre and Pedro (the dynamic duo) I felt more relaxed. They are both down to earth and very respectful of your home.

You can tell Andre is highly knowledgeable and experienced electrician. I truly appreciated that he was not just your average electrician. He respects his profession as an art form. He enjoys making his work look beautiful no matter how small of a job it is. He doesn't shy away from explaining to you what went wrong and how it's going to be fixed. I appreciate his straightforward but chill attitude.

I have to really thank both Andre and Pedro for dealing with our breaker box from hell. Not only was it in a highly inconvenient location but it had a huge razor grass plant right in front of it AND a wasp nest near it. It was a hot day and the wasps were extra angry that day. They both kept it professional and worked around the situation. Andre even got stung by a wasp but nonetheless he was a trooper and made sure we got the power back up.

I'm so relieved and pleased to know that I now can count of Makena Electric for all future problems. I would highly recommend!

I had Andre replace all my electrical plugs, install lights, fix a vent and rebuild the electrical under kitchen sink. Not only did Andre come in with a fair price and quick availability, he was highly professional and courteous, as was his assistant Pedro. Andre came out and installed two outdoor outlets at my Dads house. Price was reasonable. He fit me in quickly so that my Dad could get his tv up for football season. He even mounted the tv bracket and helped me install tv. He's a great guy even though he's flying the wrong football colors.

Really great experience. Team was smart, efficient and kept me updated real time on all matters, from when they would arrive and if there was a delay and when they would be here.

They did a ton of work for me, from adding electricity to my new home office space, switch out and fix delayed lights, broken flip switch, put new lights up in 4 different rooms and fixing issues with out panel.
