We comply with California State regulations that require all electricians to be certified at the Journeyman level, while trainees must be at the Apprentice level. Therefore, we view education as vital to our business. All of our electricians, including President Andre Miller, have completed the California State Journeyman test and are either registered with the state or actively enrolled in a trade school.
Whether the job is big or small, we are dedicated to the Pride, Professionalism, and Production required to complete the task. Owner Andre M. began his electrical journey as a trainee, completing his apprenticeship at Associated Builders and Contractors, where he earned his certificate of completion. Once he completed the required apprenticeship hours, Andre took and passed the State of California Journeyman test, the standard for all electricians in California. After obtaining his Journeyman license, Andre set out to gain insights from the veterans in the trade, diligently studying and questioning their every technique.
Once he gained confidence, Makena Electric was established. Equipped with the knowledge from experienced professionals and trade school training, Andre has positioned Makena Electric to compete successfully and provide clients with exceptional service.
