Majestic Plumbing is an excellent place to call and get the job done! They kept up to date with me and let me know exactly when the plumber was on his way. Good and challenging price versus the other local locations I priced in the Marietta area.

Thankfully, I have never had the need for a plumber, but my mother did for a leaky water line. She found Majestic Plumbing and Electric in Marietta, Georgia. Josh did a GREAT job. He was on time, spent most of the day digging in the yard, located and repaired the leak. He was so neat that you cannot tell where he had to dig up the yard. Josh tested everything before he left to make sure it was up to his high standards. We are pleased with Majestic and will definitely use their services in the future.

Unfortunately, I did not have the great experience others have had. Called about a sewer gas smell in a half bathroom that had been going on for a while. Plumber arrived, and was very polite and courteous. He did not know where the smell was coming from, but suggested reseating the toilet to ""see if that worked"". It came at a cost of over $350, but we went ahead and agreed hoping it would solve the problem. He stated he did not have the materials needed to complete the job, and so would have to go get them. I thought that strange, since reseating a toilet is not rare for a plumber. He left, and did not return for 2 hours. TWO HOURS. We are less than 5 minutes from Lowe's, and less than 10 from a Home Depot. He did call after about an hour and a half to let me know he was finishing up lunch. When he returned, I asked if we needed to put some plastic on the floor to protect it. He said no, he would take care of all of that. Consequently, he pulled up the toilet and got a fair amount of water on the wood flooring. He did wipe it up, but used such a dirty rag it left a mess behind. It took him about a half hour to complete the job, which further puzzled me. Why didn't he just get it done earlier instead of leaving for so long? Finally, the caulking job he performed was not good. To add insult to injury, the smell still exists, so the toilet was not the cause to begin with. I contacted Majestic after the fact to let them know of my concerns. Angie did get back with me quickly to let me know the plumbing supervisor would be calling. He did not call the rest of that week. Angie called me the following week and said the supervisor had called and wanted to know if he could come out. I informed her that no one had called, and at this point, I wasn't sure what else they could do. I also sent pictures of the sub par caulking job. I've not heard anything since then. Sorry to say I would neither hire again, nor recommend.

Majestic has saved me on several occasions. I've been using their plumbing services for years, but last week I had lost power from my breaker and had to make an after hours call to their electrical team on a very hot evening. The final price was about $50 less than most of their competition charged just for the after hours fee, they got here in about 30 minutes where their competition would've taken 2 hours to dispatch, and their technician was as friendly as I've come to expect from Majestic. Majestic knows good customer service at a great price!

I am very disappointed that I did not get the same treatment from Majestic Plumbing & Electric as the reviews I am reading here. Matt was the plumber that was sent to do a simple disconnect of my kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal... as well as, only disconnecting my gas range. I was in a pinch to get this done today as my granite counters are being installed tomorrow. Matt was only there for approximately 1 hour, no materials were needed and he charged me $680 to disconnect the above mentioned items. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I am a woman and I was in a pinch to get this done before tomorrow morning. After speaking with other contractors... I was repeatedly told, ""I'm so sorry. It looks like he screwed you over.""
It is not right that a single mother can not rely on a professional business to not take advantage of her. I am so upset that I went along with the payment. However, I have canceled them to come back for the reconnect after the granite is put in, as he has quoted $670 to reconnect.. for a grand total of $1350 to provide no more than a couple of hours of work and no parts.. I have since been quoted by two other plumbers to do this work for no more than $200.

I love this company...and the technician Sandy he has been out to my has several times to replace cupler on water heater and then replacing my water heater.Very informative and explains everything in a way you can understand.Loves his job very enthusiasatic and personable.I'd recommend Majestic Plumbling to everyone just an honest caring company

I had the good fortune of having Eric Hardy sent to my house by Majestic Plumbing to install a new kitchen faucett. Eric was very courteous and professional. He explained all costs to me before performing the installation. He completed the installation and verified that there were no leaks. He left the jobsite very clean. Majestic Plumbing is tops in my book thanks to Eric.

The good thing about them is that they were on time. However, I can't help but wonder who wrote the incredible reviews for them. My experience was not positive. They charged me a total of about $1,400 to clean outside lines, replace an outside faucet, install a toilet I provided, and repair another toilet. I had a receipt from my old plumbing company (around $500) for approximately the same work about a year ago. Too bad the old company seems to be out of business. I did call Majestic back after I stewed on the high charges for a few days and asked them to check the charges. They said they'd call me back -- surprise, no call back. The plumber also told me that I need a new PRV, but I had it replaced a few months ago, so that felt wrong.

Unless timeliness is a high priority, don't call them. If you are willing to pay more because they arrive on time, go for it.
