Yesterday, I called to get someone to reattach the tank to the bowl of my toilet. I had removed the old bolts and bought new ones, but was having trouble attaching them. The dispatcher, Candice, said they couldn't come yesterday, so I made an appointment for the 1-4 pm window today. She wouldn't give me a quote on the phone but led me to believe the price for such a small job would be reasonable. Today I left work early to get home. The plumber, Andres, didn't show up within the window. When he finally arrived, he looked at the toilet and said I had simply tightened one of the bolts too much. When I asked how much it would cost for him to tighten it properly, he said it would be $395 to ""rebuild"" the inside of the toilet. I explained that I didn't need the inside of the toilet to be rebuilt, as it was working perfectly. He said, in that case, it would be $289 to connect the tank to the bowl with the new bolts that I had already purchased, and he said he could do it in 5 minutes. I asked him why it would cost so much, and he said this was the cost of his labor. In other words, he wanted to charge me $3,468 per hour for his labor - and more to reattach the 2 pieces of this toilet than it would cost to buy a brand new toilet. He refused to call his manager to ask if he could do the 5 minute job for less. I called Candice, who said she agreed this was terrible but that she had no authority to help. As I was talking to her, Andres drove away. Outrageous.

Changing my low rating due to owner's helpfulness and understanding during a very stressful situation.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with Majestic!

The company put an offer on Angie's List: $39 for a credit toward $169 worth of services. I needed several things done at my new house, including the installation of light fixtures. The young man who came to my house told me that the company wasn't making any money off the Angie's List deal they signed up for (they've done it more than once, however), and it's clear that they recuperated their losses through the added costs of the small jobs I had them do. The technician installed two light fixtures, and, as a separate job, attached wires from a light-outlet box to a dimmer switch I had already purchased.

But here's the rub: The guy charged me an ADDITIONAL $230 for this service! So, they're telling me that the cost for installing two light fixtures (""as is"") and a dimmer (""as is"") was $399 (the $169 credit I allegedly got, PLUS $230)? THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS, ESPECIALLY since they ALSO currently have on Angie's List a deal that you can have two light fixtures installed for $119 (normally, they say, $132)!

I GOT RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Note: I would've had them do more work but the pricing was so outrageous I only had them do the jobs that I considered most important at the time -- and because I didn't want to spend over $500!

Never again, Majestic, you asswipes!!

My realtor recommended Majestic Plumbing. These guys got the job done and fast.

My tenant had a clogged toilet. After both of us tried to clear the clog with no success, I contacted my realtor to see if she had any recommendations. The last plumbing company I used, Atlanta Plumbing Plus, had closed (https://www.yelp.com/biz/atlanta-plumbing-plus-norcross) so I was looking for a new plumber.

I called Majestic on a Sunday morning around 10:30 AM. A lady answered the phone, took down my information, and told me someone would be in touch. About 5 minutes later, Alan called me. I think Alan is the owner; if not, one of the managers. He told me he could have someone on-site within 1-2 hours which I thought was great.

I described to Alan the situation and he quoted me $185 to use an auger plus $95 for the Sunday/emergency trip fee. Any other day, there wouldn't have been the $95 fee. This was his initial quote, but the final diagnosis would be made by the plumber dispatched on-site. It was possible I needed a new toilet. Fortunately, I didn't.

I told Alan to tell his plumber to call me when he was 10 minutes away. That way, I could meet the plumber at the property. Harold, the plumber, called me at 11:30 AM to tell me he was 10 minutes away. I thought that was quick. Harold assessed the problem (checked the bathroom sink and tub for backups as well) and determined an auger was indeed what was needed.

He went to his truck, wrote up a bill, grabbed his auger, and went to work. It only took him a minute or two to clear the clog with his hand-cranked auger. The job was done by 12:00 PM, only 1.5 hours after my initial call to Majestic. I'm not sure where Harold was coming from, but I met him at my rental property in Midtown. I loved how fast and efficient these guys were.

I paid with credit card. There was a 3% fee for paying with credit card, so my total came out to $288.40. It wasn't cheap, but it was also a Sunday. I don't know how these guys' prices compare to the competition, but I was happy with the end result which is what really matters. Problem solved. Thanks, Majestic.

By the way, Harold sent me a handwritten thank you card in the mail after his visit. I thought that was a nice touch.

Majestic Plumbing came to repair two vanity faucets leaking. Was here for 2 hours, replaced washers and silicone around the two faucets. Never gave a quote on the repair before he started. our bill was $282. Statement wasn't itemized to show labor and materials. I could have purchased 2 new faucets. And to top it all off, their work is not warranted!
We have used Majestic for electrical work in the past and never thought this would happen.

Majestic Plumbing is an excellent place to call and get the job done! They kept up to date with me and let me know exactly when the plumber was on his way. Good and challenging price versus the other local locations I priced in the Marietta area.

Majestic was great. Dustin helped replace wall switches into smart switches. He was very knowledgeable and on-time with a call ahead. I would recommend to anyone who needs electric work at fair prices.

Thankfully, I have never had the need for a plumber, but my mother did for a leaky water line. She found Majestic Plumbing and Electric in Marietta, Georgia. Josh did a GREAT job. He was on time, spent most of the day digging in the yard, located and repaired the leak. He was so neat that you cannot tell where he had to dig up the yard. Josh tested everything before he left to make sure it was up to his high standards. We are pleased with Majestic and will definitely use their services in the future.

Unfortunately, I did not have the great experience others have had. Called about a sewer gas smell in a half bathroom that had been going on for a while. Plumber arrived, and was very polite and courteous. He did not know where the smell was coming from, but suggested reseating the toilet to ""see if that worked"". It came at a cost of over $350, but we went ahead and agreed hoping it would solve the problem. He stated he did not have the materials needed to complete the job, and so would have to go get them. I thought that strange, since reseating a toilet is not rare for a plumber. He left, and did not return for 2 hours. TWO HOURS. We are less than 5 minutes from Lowe's, and less than 10 from a Home Depot. He did call after about an hour and a half to let me know he was finishing up lunch. When he returned, I asked if we needed to put some plastic on the floor to protect it. He said no, he would take care of all of that. Consequently, he pulled up the toilet and got a fair amount of water on the wood flooring. He did wipe it up, but used such a dirty rag it left a mess behind. It took him about a half hour to complete the job, which further puzzled me. Why didn't he just get it done earlier instead of leaving for so long? Finally, the caulking job he performed was not good. To add insult to injury, the smell still exists, so the toilet was not the cause to begin with. I contacted Majestic after the fact to let them know of my concerns. Angie did get back with me quickly to let me know the plumbing supervisor would be calling. He did not call the rest of that week. Angie called me the following week and said the supervisor had called and wanted to know if he could come out. I informed her that no one had called, and at this point, I wasn't sure what else they could do. I also sent pictures of the sub par caulking job. I've not heard anything since then. Sorry to say I would neither hire again, nor recommend.

Majestic has saved me on several occasions. I've been using their plumbing services for years, but last week I had lost power from my breaker and had to make an after hours call to their electrical team on a very hot evening. The final price was about $50 less than most of their competition charged just for the after hours fee, they got here in about 30 minutes where their competition would've taken 2 hours to dispatch, and their technician was as friendly as I've come to expect from Majestic. Majestic knows good customer service at a great price!
