The electrician we have used for years is no longer in the area. I asked my friend Julie if she had any recommendations and she recommended Dustin with Mahaffey Electric. We had a very old and very heavy chandelier we wanted hung not only on the ceiling but the ceiling in a stairway. The ceiling was quite high. Brandon came out on Friday and installed the chandelier. I thought it would be a challenge but no challenge. He was done before I knew it. Not only did he do a beautiful job hanging the chandelier but he also attached I don't even know how many heavy crystals from it. It was very sentimental to us because it hung at the home of my in-laws since the 70's so we wanted to make sure whoever we hired was a professional. I am in awe at how beautiful it looks hanging. I've already hired him for another job and will definitely use him for any electrical needs we may have. He is very professional and very good at what he does. First impressions are very important. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I would definitely recommend him

I told my husband, I'm giving Dustin 6 stars! Alas, Yelp only allows 5. From first contact (weeks before the (smallish) job started) until we said good bye, Dustin was professional and his work top notch. On time, conscientious, and cleaned up after himself (hear that other guys, we like that!).

I had 3 kitchen lights removed and 3 new one put in (requiring new holes in the ceiling) as well as he switched the placement of my pendent light switch (from one side of the room to the other) and moved phone cabling (convenience for me) all in a relatively short period of time.

Based on the Yelp reviews, I contacted Mr. Mahaffey. I had a very small job and although he was committed to his other scheduled clients, he came to my house early the next morning. He was courteous, polite and professional. But best of all he completed the work in a very short time, charged a very reasonable rate and made sure the work was acceptable to me. I will make Dustin my ""go to"" electrician for all future work.

Very happy with the workmanship and price. We had our old fluorescent kitchen light changed to canned lighting. We also changed older canned lighting to the new led lights and a entry chandelier swapped out for a new one. The vaulted ceiling was way too high for me to attempt. I recommend Mahaffey Electric for your home improvement!

Wow, was so impressed by Mahaffey Electric. Dustin reviewed my project prior, gave a fair estimate, and scheduled a timely appointment.
