I sent out requests to multiple companies about doing recessed lighting. Dustin was most responsive, answered all my questions and gave me advice about what to use. Pricing was extremely fair. He and his coworker showed up on time, were clean and precise in their work. The attention to detail was extremely appreciated. They patched things well, used texture spray to match our wall too. Very professional, and Dustin is super cool. We chatted for a bit about personal interests, and he helped me set up the lighting app for the lights as well. I freak out about choosing the right company when it involves something I know very little about. It's a relief when you realize you've chosen the right place. Can't recommend these guys enough. Been using Mahaffey electric for 5 years now. Ceiling fans, reset lights, plugs you name it. Dustin is a great owner operator. Was having power surges on and off. He came, diagnosed the problem and said to call Edison. He was correct, problem solved. Highly recommend this company

We had an issue with outlets in all of our bathrooms and tried to reset all the circuit breakers with no luck. We were fearing the worst that we would have to try to fix it ourselves or have an electrician come out and give us a hefty price quote for an extra expense we didn't plan for.
I was shopping around Yelp for quotes from different electricians weighing the average estimate against buying tools ourselves and asking for help from a sales associate at Lowe's.
Dustin, the manager of this business gave me the quote I asked for but also gave me some advice to help. And it worked!!! Such a relief knowing neither my husband or I would get electrocuted, or wouldn't have an extra expense to pay!! A million thank you'd, Dustin! You are an awesome human being and if we ever have any electrical issues in the future, I won't have to shop around for quotes again. I'm going directly to you guys!!

Thanks Dustin! We had a whole list of stuff for him to fix and he came out during quarantine and while it was hot as hell outside. Go with them for your job! I got 4 different quotes and they were in the middle, but very professional- did an awesome job at the quoted price and they also fix their own dry wall which is very nice.

The electrician we have used for years is no longer in the area. I asked my friend Julie if she had any recommendations and she recommended Dustin with Mahaffey Electric. We had a very old and very heavy chandelier we wanted hung not only on the ceiling but the ceiling in a stairway. The ceiling was quite high. Brandon came out on Friday and installed the chandelier. I thought it would be a challenge but no challenge. He was done before I knew it. Not only did he do a beautiful job hanging the chandelier but he also attached I don't even know how many heavy crystals from it. It was very sentimental to us because it hung at the home of my in-laws since the 70's so we wanted to make sure whoever we hired was a professional. I am in awe at how beautiful it looks hanging. I've already hired him for another job and will definitely use him for any electrical needs we may have. He is very professional and very good at what he does. First impressions are very important. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I would definitely recommend him

I told my husband, I'm giving Dustin 6 stars! Alas, Yelp only allows 5. From first contact (weeks before the (smallish) job started) until we said good bye, Dustin was professional and his work top notch. On time, conscientious, and cleaned up after himself (hear that other guys, we like that!).

I had 3 kitchen lights removed and 3 new one put in (requiring new holes in the ceiling) as well as he switched the placement of my pendent light switch (from one side of the room to the other) and moved phone cabling (convenience for me) all in a relatively short period of time.
