We recently bought an electric car, and needed a NEMA 14-50 plug installed in our garage. We called around, and Ertan was the only one to answer his phone. We were in a crunch and he was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. We already had the car and were unable to fully charge it each night.

Ertan was on time, professional, and explained the work he was going to do in detail. He had to cut into the drywall, but patched everything up and left everything looking great. We are very pleased with his work.

If you are looking for someone to install a plug for your EV, he has a ton of experience and can do it quickly.

Wow. Ertan is great. First, we had a light fixture fall from our ceiling in our warehouse, and I called Magnolia based on their Yelp reviews (I actually called 4-5 companies but Ertan answered). Ertan was the only one who actually answered the phone, and when I told him of the problem, he was concerned about the light being a hazard and came to our warehouse within an hour. He was right...the falling light had severed some of it's wires, so Ertan cut them and capped them off safely until he could do the repair the next day. And the next day he appeared on time, with a helper (high ceiling), and although he had quoted a new light fixture, proudly repaired the old one and deducted the cost from my bill! Does it get any better than this? Actually, it does. We asked Ertan as long as he was at the warehouse if he might ID the breaker that controlled our security camera. He did so at no extra charge. OK, so now I'm a HUGE fan, and I would give him 10 stars if I could. On more thing...the cost for two visits, capping off the wires on day 1 and repairing a fallen light fixture on day 2, re-installing all the fallen conduit, AND identifying the security camera breaker?....under $200, which is beyond fair and reasonable in my book. Ertan is my new electrician for any of my business needs.

I called Ertran based on the Yelp Reviews and he answered promptly - was finishing up a job and could be at my place in 30 minutes. He arrived and 20 minutes later the problem was fixed - it was a simply fix but he could have easily charge me 10 x the price - service call, diagnosis, etc. This guy is a class act - honest and nice. I had him look at another problem (dead outlet) and he was honest in saying it would take a lot of time to discover and then there might not be a fix. Again, he could have led me on and then billed the crap out of me. He didn't. Class Act - highly recommend him.

I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and punctual contractor. We recently went through a TIC-condo conversion process with dozens of big and small upgrades to meet code etc. We all looked forward to Ertan's visits because he always appeared on time and got the work done to a high standard. He's also a very pleasant man with a calm disposition. I recently had him return to our apartment to replace the defective kitchen lights that a different contractor installed a few years back and I was reminded of how much I enjoyed working with him.

Ertan of Magnolia Electric Co. is awesome. He is located in Walnut Creek but works all over--San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area. He is a general contractor as well. IF he says he will be there at a certain time, he is there. Very respectful of the home he is working in. His prices are very fair. I had a plumbing problem after my electrical work, but it was a problem in the making prior to my electrical work. I told him that I couldn't imagine it was from anything they did. rather than insisting that it was unrelated to his work, he insisted on coming out to check it out for me before I had a plummer out. He is exactly what one looks for--on time, respectful, excellent price. Good guy.

Ertan came round a couple of times to diagnose and fix a problem I had with my apartment's wiring after an appliance caused some wires to explode.

He arrived on time or early on both occasions, got straight to work and didn't try to upsell or obviously overcharge for anything. He got the work done with minimum disruption to me while I was working from home, and was also willing to talk through the process so I had every confidence that he was only fixing what he needed to.

He was actually the second person that came round to look at this problem, after the first spent half an hour in my kitchen making noises and guessing what might be wrong but not giving me any definite answers. Ertan was certain of the problem very quickly, could prove it to me, and was also willing to make some quick fixes so I could get my oven working until I made an appointment to have the actual repair work done.

His approach to the repair was pragmatic and designed to be the easiest solution possible; he could easily have claimed that a more expensive job was required, especially as he knew that the landlord / HOA would be paying for the repairs and didn't need to approve the costs in advance, but he didn't.

I could have chosen any electrician for the second visit, but I chose Ertan. If I need more work done in the future, I'll choose him again.

I would highly recommend Ertan from Magnolia Electric. He is punctual, honest, and reliable. He shows up on-time and does the work himself (or with one other person). He updated my electrical and added 2 new outlets and did a great job at a fair price. He is hard working and highly knowledgable. I would hire him again for any other electrical or general contractor work.

For the first few times I worked with him I highly recommend. He did a lot of different things for my home and is a really nice and reliable person. He did electrical work (new panel, dedicated circuits, new outlets and light fixtures, etc...) and also built some walls for us. Really reasonable prices and someone that I enjoyed chatting with.

BUT I reached back out to home for a few small projects and a fairly major one and he never responded and blew me off. I wish he would have told me that he no longer wanted to work with me. I called and emailed several times and he never got back to me. Very nice person that I'm guessing didn't want to tell me that he didn't want to work with me again.

Everything you read on yelp is true. Reliable, speedy, honest and fair prices. I really couldn't ask for anything better. So impressed by how well Ertan solved the problem, knew what he was doing, had a great attitude and was experienced to know how much or little to do. I give my highest recommendation and you will not be sorry. ME is exactly what you want from an electrician and I would gladly hire him again if we have problems. Basically, ME is as good as it gets in my humble opinion!!
