This was a fantastic experience. Martin and his crew (son Judah and Arturo or Antonio?) were the 3-man crew throughout. Very knowledgeable, professional and approachable. I had assorted smaller jobs (though they also included upgrading my circuits/electrical panel.
I was also impressed with the quote and the fact that my job wasn't ""wedged"" in between a bigger/more important job. The job was accomplished from start to its finish, as though mine was the only job that mattered. I appreciate that. I would definitely use Lykos again, in fact, I am already starting a list of other projects that I'd like to do.

Martin and Lykos did a nice job replacing some old recessed lighting fixtures with some updated fixtures in our living room. It was a small project and I got some crazy quotes from highly Yelp rated competitors. Lykos offered a much more reasonable price and did a great job of keeping our living room clean while doing some messy work.

Martin was referred to me by a friend to correct the problems noted in the inspection before I bought my home. What a polite professional! He did a top notch job of correcting the electrical hazards in my home & installing our new HVAC system. He went above & beyond, was always on time, and thoroughly explained everything, including costs. His son Jude and Antonio are also very reliable. Martin and his team came back out today to install a second Nest Cam in our backyard (we saw great value in having the front door one!). He and his team installed the camera with great ease, while also advising me of 2-3 areas where the camera would have the most impact.

On the way out, Martin was thorough in cleaning up, and even went above and beyond to secure and close up an electrical box in my attic that had some exposed wires (and didn't charge me extra for it, which was nice).

I can't say enough positive things about Martin Villalobos and his crews. He was first recommended to me by my realtor when we bought an older home 4 years ago. He has fixed my duct work and my a/c unit before the furnace went kaput and we decided to replace our entire HVAC system. Martin ensured we found the best unit in our price range. His crews were very respectful of our home (protecting the carpet, being quiet especially during the babies naps, arriving on time, explaining everything step by step). Martin has always been easy to get into contact with and has always followed up to ensure everything is working the way it should. I have recommended him to all my family and friends. Lykos Services was instrumental in bringing my welding shop to life. The first thing needed was to get a bigger transformer to handle my power needs. Lykos built everything in preparation for the next step. Martin and Juda worked with the local power company to organize a seamless transition to a new 400-amp service. Then, over 150 feet of cable was run to my shop to bring power to me. While working on the lights and outlets inside, Martin and Juda worked very late into the night to ensure I was up and running. Their smile and professional demeanor never left, even at such a late hour and after a long day. These guys are very professional. Their work quality is the best I have ever seen. As stress free as can be imagined. Thank you Lykos! You are my go-to company from now on.

Professional, friendly, thorough, and upfront!

I went with Lykos for several reasons. They offer weekend hours and they were upfront about possible costs and repairs over the phone. This is great to help one with planning and budgeting.

The serviceman that helped fix our AC unit was Martin and his son. Martin was quick to respond and communicated throughout the process of arriving, potential repairs, and explained what the issue was. They made sure I saw that the unit was working before they left.

They were also friendly and professional. You can tell they took the time and thoroughness to do their work. They in no way rushed the process at all.

Overall, strongly recommend and will be happy to hire them again in the future for AC/Heating servicing.

I called 4 different companies who all misdiagnosed my Air Conditioning problem. Then I could only get appointments 6 weeks out. One company took pity on me and phoned several contractors to find a repair specialist who would schedule sooner. It was Martin Villalobos at Lykos.
Martin ordered the part and arrived the following day. But by then, my sick friend's AC had gone out. I asked Martin to help - he took an old part from my unit to fix my friend's AC, then fixed mine. Thank goodness!
A few weeks later, my condensation line was blocked. Martin arrived same day and fixed it same day. He even braved my somewhat protective dog in order to fix my AC while I was caring for my friend.
Words cannot convey my respect and admiration for Martin and his company, Lykos Electric. My friends forever.
