Well the electrician was great but the way the company charge is not fair. They came to the house for none refundable $49 and than told me they won't touch anything until I pay them another $287 it is the troubleshooting fee doesn't matter if it is 5 minutes or 5 hours . So you basically pay them up front for the max time and if they do it less than that that is your loss.
I'm an industrial electrician on industrial machines . I even told him I have started checking breakers and some of the outlets just just don't have more time to troubleshoot so figured call the expert to do it for me. Well it's a catch 22 they wont tell you about the $287 till they come out for $49 or I would have called someone else . So if you asking me never again call a better company before you let even to come out to your house .

Minus stars unfortunately are not available. I needed one outlet changed to have operated by a switch. Quoted $240 +++. Scam !!! Another company fixed it in 15 minutes and charged me only a minimum trip charge.

I have an old Florida cottage, almost 70 years old with some old fashioned wiring. I have a breaker box outside and an old fashioned, screw in fuse box inside. I had a partial power outage and neither flipping the mains, nor swapping out fuses as I'd done over the past 20 years here worked. I called Luminous Electric and spoke with a helpful representative. Chad and Nick arrived really promptly and Chad diagnosed the problem to be the MAIN fuse in the inside fuse box which contains within it a couple of smaller fuses. I'd never encountered this before which is remarkable in itself. Anyway, they left me with electricity fully functioning and with a bit of education about the wiring of my home. No upselling of un-necessary work. Charge was appropriate. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and efficient. I will call again if necessary.

Dan and Rob did an excellent job of relocating a ceiling box and installing a new kitchen island light fixture with dimmer switch. They were courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. I would strongly recommend this company and will contact them again when I am ready to start my bathroom and back hallway remodel. 5 stars +.

BAD BUSINESS ETHICS. I will never use Luminous Electric again. I am very disappointed in how Luminous does business. We contacted them for a job and explained to the dispatch person that we needed a dedicated GFI line installed in a customers bathroom that we were installing a whirlpool tub in the following week. She told me that they didn't have time to give me an estimate for this job (even though the job was scheduled on Thursday prior to the Tuesday appointment). I told them that we have used many different electric companies for this before and our price range is between $250 to maximum $450 depending on how long of a run is needed for this electrical installation. When the electrician shows up at the job he's gives us a quote of $737.00!! We questioned his price and were told it was because of the run length. At this point he knew we were at his mercy. We were at a job that had to be completed that day and he completely took advantage of the situation and price gouged almost double of what we are usually charged for the same service. The job took an hour an a half. I contacted Luminous Electric to make them aware of what we were charged thinking that their service guy must have overcharged us and wanted to make them aware of it so they could have an opportunity to make it right with us but that obviously didn't happen. Believe me, I have learned a lesson. I have worked with so many other companies, I just never expected them to charge such of an excessive price for the same job. BAD BUSINESS ETHICS

Danji showed up on time and prompt very professional. He was extremely helpful on understanding the working parts of my 30 amp jump box for a generator. Because of his knowledge quality of the product and information that he gave me I will doing business with them again excellent company

Horribly expensive. It cost us $50 to find out our issues were going to cost us about $500 per hour. I don't like the fixed price deal. I would much rather have the time and materials method. Too bad as they were very professional and nice.

JB made quick work of finding my electrical issue. Very customer friendly and personable. I've had many different trades in our home this year and he was the best to work with.
He even did a soft sell on a product helpful to our neighborhood issues. It was nice not to feel like I HAD to do it but it was presented more in a way that I could have it done now, or make up my mind later.
