Extremely disappointed and angry that after spending over $7k to update the electrical aspects of my home, I now have to spend additional money to fix my ceiling because the technicians sent up to the attic cracked my ceiling. I wasn't as angry at first because the main technician at least admitted the issue and informed me that this would be addressed. Management from Luminous electric should have reached out to me to correct the issue of the ceiling crack by the start of the following week, but I had to wait until all jobs were done to finally hear from anyone from management because it was time to collect payment. On top of that, I was told I had to wait yet again for them to arrange for someone to come out to fix the issue and I just have to accept the patch work. I already took two extra days off so they can at least finish the job. Where is my pay since I don't work from home? A 7k bill with 4k already collected, they only offered $200 off for damaging my ceiling which cost way more to fix. Before payment, they can promise the world. After payment they can care less. This experience = negative stars.

Justin just left after installing an outdoor ceiling fan over the sitting area of the patio.

He was efficient and certainly knew what he was doing, but the biggest thing is I don't have to get up on a darned ladder.

There will be more electrical stuff to do around here, and I'll request the Justin be the guy to do the installs.

Fair pricing, job done well, and I didn't have to wait weeks for someone to show up.

All in all a great experience. Highly recommend.

Did not go with this company. Had a quote and very inexperienced person came. He didn't seem to know what he was doing and when I said he was substantially higher than 7 other quotes he said he used the book. So not sure if he knew what exactly needed to be done but competency is important. Declined to go with this company.

Integrity is the word that I associate with Luminous Electric; and Responsiveness, if asked for another. I contracted them to install a Tesla outlet in my condo's parking spot. They kept me updated on plans; did a few site visits to plan conduits and meet the necessary maintenance people to get into meters, etc. Alas, my condo's HOA, in mid-job, decided that they wanted me to use an electrician of their choosing. Luminous kindly refunded the portion of my deposit not already used to buy supplies. They did not need to do this since I was under contractual obligation but this is the kind of Integrity you see with family-owned businesses. Highly recommended.

Our Electrical Panel went out late one night. Luminous Electric offers 24 hours service and we were able to discuss our situation around 1:30am. We decided that dispatching a technician in the morning made the most sense. Jesse Rex was the technician dispatched the next. He was excellent. He was able to replace our panel by the end of the day and his workmanship was outstanding. Highly recommend Luminous for any electrical work.

Since we purchased our house in April, we have used Luminous Electric for all our electrical needs to included issues that did not pass 4pt inspection, upgrading the electrical panel, burying the outside electrical lines with FPL, adding light fixtures that the sellers just sealed off, wiring for flat panel tv, canned lighting, the list goes on and on!! Found Luminous on Angie's list and reviews here too. There prices are fair and the quality of work and professionalism is outstanding! Shout out to Mike our electrician who we always request since day one (but all techs are outstanding), Rachel who was our Luminous/FPL coordinator for burying the lines which takes a few months and she was on it! Jeremiah who has assisted in handling a few items with us as well. Not enough stars!

canceled our appointment one hour before confirmed time, after we flew in for a pre-buy inspection. unacceptable. definitely do not use this electrician!!!!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Luminous Electric. We moved in this year to our home and felt the panel should be inspected to be sure everything is good and properly done. We got a appointment right away and they sent Nick today. He was excellent, professional, thorough and explained everything to us. He did find a problem, fixed it and also installed a full house surge protector we wanted. We are very happy with the job he did and highly recommend both Luminous and Nick.

I had Luminous Electric come to my home to give me an estimate on running a 220 line for a new electric oven that I purchased. Mike Egloff and his co-worker Jesus arrived on time and came in and looked at the work that needed to be done. They came back with a fair estimate and I agreed to contract them. I asked when would they be able to do the work. They checked with the office and said that they would be able to do the work the same day because they had the necessary parts in the truck to do the job. AWESOME! They were here for about 1.5 and the work was complete.
These guys are very nice and I would have them come back in the future for any other job. Ask for these guys there nice and work well together. Thanks Mike and Jesus.

Used them three times and each time has been a pleasure. They are not the cheapest, but having been a builder in a previous life, I'd rather hire someone who knows code and the proper way of doing a job. Having been trained by an electrical engineer father (who designed power plants and power networks and who worked his way through school as an electrician) but no longer physically able to do the work, I now have a company I can trust to do a great job on something that must be done correctly each and every time.
