In 1944, Paul Bush founded Lubbock Electric Company (LECO) in a rented facility in downtown Lubbock. At first, the company operated with a single service truck and five employees, providing electric motor repair and troubleshooting for industrial motor and control systems. Being a service-oriented company and responding to the needs of a growing customer base, LECO soon added product lines and additional services. By the early 1980s, LECO had secured over 50 distributorships and developed into six specialized service departments. LECO now occupies more than 100,000 square feet of office, warehouse and shop space. Our team of 75 talented employees, utilizing more than 40 service vehicles, provides exceptional service to industrial clients with premium products from leading manufacturers.
