In 1944, Paul Bush founded Lubbock Electric Company (LECO) in a rented facility in downtown Lubbock. In the beginning, the company consisted of one service truck and five employees, offering electric motor repair and field troubleshooting of industrial motor and control systems. As a service-focused business addressing a growing clientele, LECO quickly expanded its product offerings and services. By the early 1980s, LECO had accumulated more than 50 distributorships and had evolved into six distinct service departments. Today, LECO spans over 100,000 square feet of office, warehouse, and workshop space. With 75 skilled employees and over 40 service vehicles, we serve an industrial clientele using top-quality products from the best manufacturers in the industry.
