I messed up my own electricity on Saturday 1/21/17 by changing out a light switch and not rewiring it properly. I did a Yelp search for Electricians and clicked the ""Open Now"" button, and Lighthouse was the first entry. High ratings, so I called.

When I called, after one ring it rolled to voicemail, but before I lowered my phone I had a text, ""Can't talk now, I'll call you later,"" which is a smart phone option to respond to a call you can't take, so I knew my call had not gone to an office but direct to a technician's phone. I texted back affirmatively, with a brief explanation of what my problem was.

He was upfront in his response, that he had 2 calls ahead of me, but could get to me between 6 and 7 that evening. On a Saturday, mind you. He quoted me $130 for the service call, which I was willing to pay to have electricity in my master bedroom and bath.

Johnny, who turns out to be the proprietor of Lighthouse, arrived just before 7, after texting me 30 minutes prior that he was on his way. He assessed what I had done wrong with the switch almost without looking at it, and rewired it and buttoned everything up - power restored. He finished it in under 15 minutes, and only charged me $75 - basically a show-up fee.

So to sum up - booked a service call entirely via text, he kept me apprised of his schedule, arrived on time, assessed and repaired my issue quickly, and charged me less than I expected.

Who else does that? Overall my experience was excellent. Call Johnny if you have a need.

I had lights out in part of my house, the backyard, and garage. I called Lighthouse Electric in the morning and they came that afternoon. Johnny was able to locate the problem and everything was on within an hour. He was professional and friendly. I will definitely call him for any future electrical needs!

I cannot recommend Lighthouse electric enough! They were friendly, courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. We had power out in a major portion of the house and couldn't get to the root of the problem. They came out on a weekend, did a full diagnostic, and performed expert repairs at a very reasonable price.

I wont trust anyone else to my electrical work as long as I am in the Pearland/Houston area.

I needed a chandelier installed in my dining room and since it's getting close to the holidays, I figured it would take awhile to get an appointment. I called Lighthouse Electric and they were able to come out the very next morning! Michael, the electrician, was very pleasant and polite and I could not be happier with the job that he did. The chandelier is rectangular in shape and hangs by two chains at opposite ends of the fixture and since the cord threads through one of the chains, my concern was that it would not hang straight and be crooked.Michael was patient and took the time to make sure that it was hanging straight and that I was satisfied with the result. Their pricing is very reasonable, too, in my opinion. Solid, competent, business that I will use again when I need electrical work done and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic service! Top-notch same day service. Johnny is running a great business with fantastic electricians like Carlos. Carlos arrived on the same day we called and even arrived earlier than scheduled. You would think for service this good they would charge more but they were incredibly affordable. Would definitely do business with them again and will recommend them to anyone.

I was initially very disappointed. I had to reschedule 3 to 4 times because the contractors were hours late or just never showed up. Each time excuses were made about being short handed. When they finally did show up they quoted me a price for a service it turns out I didn't even need after all because it wouldn't have solved my problem according to the 2nd opinion I got. Mr. Johnny, the owner, of Lighthouse called and listened to my concerns regarding the service I received from Lighthouse. He's a fair person, and did what it took to make it up to me. I appreciated that thoroughly.

I contacted Lighthouse to assist with several electrical issues that we had. Issues turned out to be minor things, but were fixed to our satisfaction. They also checked on another prior issue to make sure things were working properly. We thought the price was a bit high, but honestly when it comes to electrical, plumbing, etc. I think often times you get what you pay for. Contacted lighthouse for an estimate on another issue on another occasion, and they were helpful. Would definitely contact them in the future to assist with any electrical problems.

I was in dire need of help removing the socket part of the bulb from a recessed lighting fixture. Johnny responded to my initial call and I told him of my predicament. I told him that I had another appointment in the afternoon but he was able to come within the hour which was great! He was prompt and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Called Lighthouse Electric about replacing an outlet at my house. The owner answered the phone and was very helpful. He had one of his guys out to my house that afternoon to fix the issue. Very professional and reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again.
