Doing business with LaVerne & Son for over 15 years. For us they have installed HVAC systems, electrical upgrades, remodels and for new construction in our large home, as well as doing all our spring and summer service. They have installed 18.4 Kw solar panels and a 22Kw Generac whole house generator with automatic transfer switch which also powers our 3300 sq ft barn. Everything gets scheduled within a reasonable time period. Rex has sufficient crew members to handle large and small jobs.

Came out just to look at our unit and charged $100. Didn't even tell us over the phone that there was an estimate fee. All of the other places I had called had free estimates, I assumed they did the same. Very unprofessional not mentioning that bit over the phone.

My AC unit wasn't blowing out cold air. Had seen there service on Yelp. I understand it's been getting hot these past few days, so getting appointment right away was impossible. Thank goodness it was a nice cool 85 degrees this past weekend. Lol. Finally Wednesday showed up for my appointment. Was not disappointed. Ray my service tech got my unit up and running no problem. Gave me some tips to keep up my unit going. Excellent service from my tech. Will keep this company in my phone contacts from now on. Thanks Ray!

Yearly we have our air conditioner serviced in the spring for the upcoming summer. We choose Laverne & Son because they are honest and knowledgeable.
They always give us great service and show up when they say they will.
Yesterday was no exception.
I asked for a no contact appointment because of the COVID-19 restrictions and they were happy to do so.
We highly recommend them.

Life savers!
Came over to my cabin house and my furnace wasn't working! It was Sunday and I was worried no one would be able to drive into the mountains to help. I searched them up and gave them call and offered to help me. They assured me I would be taken care of and made the journey from Bakersfield to PMC.
They were able to find the problem and fix it with no issue. Pricing is very reasonable considering the last minute call for help.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has property over in this direction, or for anyone who needs work done on AC/heaters.

I was having little to no cooling last summer. I thought that it might be because I had PG&E install a ""throttle"" for reducing electrical usage. They came out and found no problems and suggested that it might be thermostat. I called LaVerne based on ratings. Ruben came in quickly. His sheer expertise and clear honesty were impressive. He checked my equipment from stem to stern and pulled a clogged filter. He could have charged a lot more for the time spent but said it would just be a seasonal service visit. Great service.

Was having A/C problems until Brenden ( service rep) fixed my problem.
For those that are looking for an honest, professional and experienced A/C man... this is the man. This was my first experience with this firm and I regret not knowing of them until recently. These are my guys in the future. My experience with this matter brings to mind the ""good ole days"" when tradesmen took great pride in their work and were honest and really knew what it meant to be one of the best at what you do. Very hard to find this in these times. No one likes to separated from their money for repairs but when it happens, you just want a friendly fair deal and quality workmanship. Well. I got just that and am impressed.

Called with a question about installing a new A/C in a home that did not previously have one. The girl, didn't get her name, on the phone was very helpful answering all my questions even with the little information I actually had. Scheduled an estimate, Rex came out quickly, answered all my questions, gave me quotes on the spot. They were able to install my new system within a week. Brandon and his crew came out, very professional, answered all my questions, demonstrated how to use the system and told me to call with any questions or concerns stating someone would come out if I had any issues. Excellent service. Couldn't recommend them more highly!! Don't hesitate. Call 'em!
