Wow. I am so disappointed. I read the outstanding reviews of this company on Yelp, so I was looking forward to hiring Brock to do some electrical work on the new house we just bought in San Marcos. He responded promptly to my digital request with both an email and a phone call. But as I began explaining the items we needed help with, which included an outdoor electrical box for our broken irrigation controller, and before I could finish explaining in my laymen's terms what I thought was needed, he interrupted me and responded in a condescending tone that he didn't do that sort of thing, in a way that made me feel stupid for asking. I really felt like he thought I was wasting his time. He also quoted such high prices that I would be a fool to hire him, which was his goal it seemed. I was so upset I was shaking, and I told him so. His response was to tell me that I was wrong, that he had done nothing wrong, and that the call was recorded. Again, wow. I am sure that he is a good electrician, since he has so many good reviews, but he won't be coming to my house, that's for sure. I am sure that Brock will write a good defense of himself here on Yelp, but trust me when I say that he didn't act like someone who wanted to help us with our electrical needs.

Today I had Brock and his team (family supported) do a ROCK-STAR job on installing a ceiling fan that needed wiring as well as an install. While they were working I remembered my fan in the master shower wasn't working - they ran the ladder back up and took a look (come to find out it is a SUPER silent fan and it was twirling away. They stated $25 for the look into it which was more than fair. It was a fast job so he wasn't going to tack the $25 on. What business do you know does that!!! I insisted. Brock and his team are professional, kind and courteous. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and will use them again if I am ever in the need for electrical work.

I used LCE this past week. These guys are good. Not only did they help clean-up the electrical mess left behind by the handyman (who obviously was in over his head), they helped me to identify and fix a last minute switch that I threw into the mix. They were knowledgeable, friendly, quick and reasonably priced. Will certainly use them again!

Our power went out on the whole front of the house two days before Christmas. Yes, the in-laws were coming to stay and I needed help ASAP. Brock came to our rescue. It turns out one of the landscaping lights in the front yard was causing a major short and the recent rain pushed it over the edge. Brock was prompt, thorough, excellent diagnostics, fair pricing and did not up sale us on anything. I couldn't have asked for more. Brock is our Electrician for life.

We suddenly lost our lights tonight and could not get them back on in our living room. I called a couple of places and no one answered before we called La Costa Electric and spoke to Brock.
