In the spring of 2023, residential real estate transactions began to face challenges as insurance providers revised their policies to redline all properties with knob and tube wiring. This business was founded by a property developer and contractor with significant experience in permitting, project management, real estate development, and construction, applying their expertise to modernize properties to help owners obtain and keep insurance.

In March 2023, my wife Brandi, a property agent in SF, shared me that a listing in the Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco did not sell because the five buyers who offered on it could not obtain insurance. That week, two of her colleagues had buyers in escrow that were canceled by the providers because the property was discovered to contain knob and tube wiring. That was the turning point that launched the venture.

My background is in real estate finance and financial management. I've developed 400 apartments and have secured equity financing for the construction of over 7500 apartments.
