In the spring of 2023, residential real estate transactions began to struggle as insurance providers revised their guidelines to deny coverage for all properties with knob and tube wiring. Our company was founded by a real estate developer and contractor with significant experience in permitting, project management, property development, and renovation, applying their skills to modernize properties to help owners secure and retain insurance.

In the same month, my wife Brandi, a realtor in San Francisco, told me that a property in the Sunset area of SF did not close because the five buyers who offered on it could not get insurance. That same week, two of her peers had buyers in agreement that were canceled by the providers because the property was found to have K&T wiring. That was the moment of realization that launched the venture.

My experience is in real estate development and investment. I've built over 400 units and have secured equity financing for the construction of over 7500 apartments.
