His team was a half hour late to the appointment with no call to let me know they'd be showing up late. On top of that, Ken didn't even come as he sent someone else instead. Granted, his employees were nice and seemed to know what they were doing but based on all of these reviews, I expected Ken to do the work, or at least let me know in advance to expect someone else. When I see a bunch of 5 star reviews for one particular person, I expect him to show up for the job. A bit pricey for the simple work done as well.

Nothing to add to all the other accolades because I can't say enough good things about Ken and his crew. They installed new conduit to power a hot tub, on time and for the price quoted--also replaced the smoke and CO alarms.

When it comes to electricians (and human beings in general!), Ken Hansen is the best of the best! I called him to install smoke detectors and a wifi thermostat, and he scheduled it immediately. When he showed up to complete the work, he was fast, courteous and helpful with several other electrical questions I threw at him. But the most refreshing thing about Ken is that he's honest. He actually educated me on how to save money on future projects. He even went as far as showing me how to do some of the things myself! The guy is just awesome. Trust me, if you need ANY electrical work done this is the guy you want doing it!

Ken is the kind of contractor you always hope to find. He doesn't make you wait forever to schedule work, he is prompt and gets work done quickly but with a high degree of quality. His prices are reasonable because he wants repeat customers, and no project is too big or too small. He offers lots of suggestions so that you are aware of options BEFORE you have work done, which is greatly appreciated. Hiring Ken is like having a friend who's an electrician and is always willing to help you out.

I have been using Ken for a couple of years and cannot recommend him highly enough. I've hired him to do work in my home and at my business.

Ken's prices are fair, and the quality of the work he does is second to none. He is straightforward and honest. I trust him completely.

One other thing to note: Ken doesn't jack up prices once he's started a project which is common among electricians. So if another guy says it's $400 to do a job and Ken quotes $550, it's likely better to go with Ken because the cheaper guy will come back to you halfway through and tell you it's another $85 for this and $160 for that, oh and I have to drill this thing and that's another $150....

Ken was one of my best Yelp finds yet.

Very happy with Ken Hansen Electric. Ken and his team (Rudy & Edgar) installed recessed lights, in-ceiling speakers, and chandeliers in our home. They did very clean work and worked extra hard to wire things the way I wanted it. Before getting the work done, Ken was very responsive in providing advice and estimates. Prices were reasonable and competitive. Highly recommend Ken.

This company just switched out my heat lamps, all of my light fixtures (inside and out) and reset some breakers. Quick, efficient and did it in the off hours outside of patrons being present. Very pleased with their work.
