The owner quoted me $180 for the whole job, excluding parts. The electrician who came out to troubleshoot told me it would be over $250 due to time spent troubleshooting. I told him I was quoted $180 and that's what I'm willing to pay. He said it's the owner who misrepresents the price to the customer, not him. Before he left he broke one of the other lights that used to work. But hey, at least he fixed the hall light!

KCD gave the best price estimate for a Level 2 EV charger outlet install in our garage coming from our existing box. (I might be describing this wrong - I had a charging cable, just needed a more powerful outlet.)

Shane was our electrician, and was super competent, efficient, and nice. He even mounted my charging plug up for me so that everything looks tidy and is off the ground, and gave advice about how best to route the cable. We tested out the cable and everything is working great.

Rick, the owner, was super easy to communicate with via the Yelp app and text, and accommodating with my schedule.

I had KCD Electric take out an old ceiling light and fan and put in a new one. I also had them troubleshoot some outlets
that were not performing properly. They were able to give me next-day service, and completed all projects. Their price was fair and they were able to do the troubleshooting for me, which I had been unable to get prior electricians to come out and do. A job well done!!

Had an EV station installed. Professional company as Rick was very responsive when I reached out to him and answered all of my questions promptly. I had reached out to several different companies to get quotes and the other companies either didn't respond, or when they did, it sounded like I was a bother and responded unprofessionally overall. The prices were all around the same, but being kind and responsive to people goes a long way which is why I chose KCD. Price was good and everything was discussed upfront so there were no surprises. I had never needed an electrician before and good ones are hard to come by so I'm glad we found this company. Would definitely recommend.
