Had an EV station installed. Professional company as Rick was very responsive when I reached out to him and answered all of my questions promptly. I had reached out to several different companies to get quotes and the other companies either didn't respond, or when they did, it sounded like I was a bother and responded unprofessionally overall. The prices were all around the same, but being kind and responsive to people goes a long way which is why I chose KCD. Price was good and everything was discussed upfront so there were no surprises. I had never needed an electrician before and good ones are hard to come by so I'm glad we found this company. Would definitely recommend.

Sent out a quote request through Yelp for a Nema 14/50 install in my garage. All of the quotes were relatively the same but I chose KCD based off their reviews. From my initial discussions with the owner Rick to the prompt and clean install from Shane their professionalism was noticed. I would definitely recommend this company and plan on using them for my future needs.

Based on photos gave incorrect quote for a 240V outlet installation for EV charger which seemed like a bait and switch (from $400 competitive quote to all of a sudden $1200 to install a new subpanel, which was not necessary). Did not use service due to incorrect assessment. Giving benefit of the doubt that an on-site inspection of the panel would have resulted in a correct quote (?)

This Friday or after including weekends. I also just noticed your panel is full and will not accept any additional circuits. You will need to add a sub panel. A new sub panel would cost you $1200 which will allow for up to 8 additional circuits.

I had a major electrical issue that occurred at 2:00 a.m., I reached out to Rick at KCD in the middle of the night and he contacted me the first thing in the morning.

I sent Rick pictures and we jumped on a quick call to discuss the issue. Even though Rick was on a job at Palm Springs at the time, he finished up and was at my house same day.

Rick knew that I was without electricity and in a dire situation, and could have taken advantage of the situation, but he didn't...he presented an option that both solved the problem, and was more than reasonable.

Rick is fair, professional, knowledgeable and an all-around good guy, I would HIGHLY recommend Rick for any of your electrical needs.

The power went down at our place this weekend and Jose from KCD not only helped us diagnose the problem late on a Sunday, but he was back again early the next day with the part we needed to fix out circuit breaker. Which they had to drive a few cities over to get. They worked fast, were great at explaining the problem, kept us in the loop about when they were showing up, and did it all for an extremely fair price. Definately going to them again for my electric issues.
