Our new slide-in range didn't slide all the way in, leaving a gap because the 240V outlet was in the way. Joe came to fix it and now the stove fits snuggly into the space.

So I would have given a 5 star rating as the service was punctual and well done.

Being a retired general contractor myself, I broke rule Number 1. Agree upon a price first.

I made the mistake of assuming it would be a fair one. They have good reviews.

When I received the $617. bill for let's say less than 2 hours work (installing 2 ceiling fans and one window A/C), I was very surprised, and quite frankly feel an old man was taken advantage of. Could have easily done this myself but ladders and poor balance don't go well together.

So, moral is to get the agreeable pricing done first, and I would recommend them and utilize them again. Mahalo!

A lot of confusion with booking and Kama Ana handyman no showed twice for their booking. I asked what happened and they said their worker was hurt and that's why they no showed and didn't call.

First they had to measure the door and order the part from the mainland. This took 30-45 days. On the first showing, it wasn't the same technician and he didn't know what he was doing and couldn't install the door tracks and said he will be back.

Then when Joseph showed up to fix the job, he knew what he was doing and fixed everything as requested. Highly recommend to request for Joseph to do your work rather than the other no show workers.
