We requested a quote from Kama'aina Handyman to install two window AC units. They responded quickly with a reasonable price range and a few additional questions. Once the questions were answered, Gindi replied quickly with an exact price quote, and they sent a handyman to our home on the same day. The handyman, Jovan, was cheerful, communicative, and hard-working. He did an excellent job installing our new AC units and painting the frames. When he was finished, I had a couple of minor concerns, which he cheerfully addressed right away. Overall, this was a great handyman experience, from our initial contact through the completion of the installation. We will definitely be using Kama'aina Handyman again in the future!

I needed a toilet wax ring replaced at my office and since I had a good experience with them before (they installed a new kitchen faucet at my home), I decided to call them to do this job. From the friendly lady (sorry, didn't get her name) to the technician (Apollo) who showed up as scheduled, and did a great job - I was again, very satisfied with the high quality of service and reasonable costs that they provide.

I have no idea how good these folks are, but they do answer quickly. My problem with them is their quote to hang 12 pictures, 4 floating shelves, a robe hook, and an iron holder was $500 to $800 with me supplying all materials, which I already have. I found this to be exorbitant. I figured a max of 4 hours, so about $200 to $300, but billed at an hourly rate so if it took 2 hours, I would pay for 2 hours. if they are really good and you want to use them, be sure to get everything in writing so you don't pay $800 for a $200 job.
