Knowing the HVAC industry, I have researched many companies to have my relatives in Central Florida depend on. Kalos is that company. Get this, the owner actually trains the entire industry (for free) thru a podcast. The normal responses of ""you need a new unit"" were refreshingly not heard when any of the Kalos techs had diagnosed a problem. Every person I've talked to from this company actually know what they are doing. So far the prices have been lower than expected, with quick diagnostic and several options for repairs, each promptly performed. Fair to low prices and knowledgeable technicians are not really common in the HVAC world, it's refreshing to find a great company when I'm so far away. Thanks for the great work guys.

If there was a zero I would leave it. I wasn't going to leave a review, but then I couldn't understand how they had such a good rating. First they said they would be here at 1:30, they didn't show till 7:00 pm. 2 service men came out and looked like they where pissed because they had to come here. The first thing they did was hook the gauges to see the pressure on the unit, then immediately said it was a $300 part that was not working"" expansion valve"", so he started to crush it with his pliers.I took a pic of the crushed part. then they proceeded to tell me it was 4 to 6 lbs low on freon, i asked maybe that is why the valve wouldn't open he said no. he added freon and the system and it started blowing cold air. I asked again if the valve wasn't working how is the system working now.( in the mean time common sense told me it has a leak). he said to me it isn't working and it needs a valve and freon. needless to say he wanted to charge me $400 for freon and service charge. My wife and I told him to take the freon out and we will pay for the service charge. I called DEL AIR, they came out the next day found the leak and replaced the A coil, the system works great except the service man from DEL AIR said the valve may not switch to heat because someone crunched the bulb. KALOS still haven't cashed the service charge check. In summary the A coil had a leak and the valve was fine, I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Our AC stopped cooling on a Sunday afternoon. Kalos was prompt, supportive and professional. And this was on a Sunday! Our system was more than 20 years old and beginning to fail. The Kalos service team quickly provided a full proposal with options to choose from. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, no up-selling . We are very pleased with the level of professionalism and communication both with the techs and home office. Kalos now has a long time customer with us. We'll definitely be sending our family and friends to Kalos.

One more thing. With our system being so old, we received a new ""smart"" thermostat. I don't like having to figure out new technologies. Tyler picked up on this and handled it all including the sync to my phone. There was nothing left for me to figure out. He patiently stayed until he saw that I knew exactly how to work things. And he did this after nearly 9 hours of hard work installing our system in 98 degree heat & intermittent downpour rains. Great people. Thorough service.

I always wait at least one year before reviewing a major purchase, past the initial so happy to have my business. I purchased a new HVAC unit from Kalos last year and had the first maintenance today. From the initial visit by Jesse to the service today, has been the kind of experience you hope for but rarely receive. Their prices were very competitive with other companies working in The Villages. The men who installed the unit, Grant and James, were very clean cut guys and super professional. I felt very comfortable running errands and leaving them alone at the house. When I thought the unit was experiencing a problem (really my thermostat user error), Jesse came right out and explained the issue but also went over the unit while he was here. That wasn't necessary but the kind of extra steps and service you can expect from Kalos. Tyler, who did the one year maintenance today, was very professional and polite. I was so impressed with their HVAC service that I use them for electrical and will use them to replace my hot water heater. Do yourself a favor in The Villages, get an estimate from Kalos and use them for an awesome experience!!! Susan Harris

Very professional and definitely the ones to call when you're in a pinch!
The last thing you want to hear when your A/C goes out in the middle of the summer is that a technician may be able to get to you in a couple of days... Kalos has always come through on the same day when we've needed, and they do the job right the first time.

Excellent service. My AC unit went out yesterday. On house temperature was 87 degrees. Called Kalos this morning. Technician made a timely visit, made repairs & my 16 year old AC system is running beautifully. Great job.

I am very, very pleased with the work Mr. Nathan, the Lead Electrician of Kalos Services did for me.

The work was the replacement of two ceiling fans and two light fixtures in my house. Mr Nathan and his assistant (I think his name is Andrea) did an excellent work.

The installations of the ceiling fans and light fixtures were done very professionally, quickly and neatly. My wife shouted with delight when she came back and saw the good work.

Now, let me talk a little bit about Mr Nathan and Mr Andrea who did the job. They are very patient and smart gentlemen. I observed that when they were trying to take down the bad ceiling fan in the family room. It was really a challenge, but they came up with solutions that led to a successful dismantling of the bad fan without damaging the ceiling. I was really impressed with how they carefully installed the fans and light fixtures.

Mr. Nathan loves his job and loves helping people. I can sense in my spirit that he is godly man. Mr Nathan and Mr Andrea are friendly and humble guys. May God bless them.

Kalos officers keep to their promises. Mr Nathan came back a couple of days later, as he promised, to fix the cover of the light fixtures (they were broken in the cartons when I bought them).

The work was neatly, professionally and quickly done. The cost was very reasonable.

I do wholeheartedly recommend Kalos Services, Inc. to anybody who wants a very good job done for him or her.

We needed 2 fans installed and some wiring repair work done. A technician was out the next day after we called to give a quote. I was very surprised at how reasonable the pricing was and Jesse was able to perform all of the work that I needed done that same day! Great customer service is hard to come by these days, and I would recommend Kalos to others.

Not for nothing, but I've been impressed with the attention to detail and great service Kalos Services, Inc. Has given my home. They have replaced things that were not in the service agreement at no additional cost, they have crawled thur my attic to assure every vent is leak free and lived up to there promise of quality service. Compared to many other AC companies I've dealt with in the pass, they have gone above and beyond and are worth every penny. No cutting corners with these guys. Highly recommended.
